GENERAL MAINTANENCE

FOR ALL JOLI CAMELEON WIGS

• All Hand-ed Joli Caméléon hair creaons • Our all hand-ed hair creaons oﬀer an extremely natural and lightweight feel and look, They should be well cared for to extend their useful life. They are more natural, and comfortable, but inherently not as durable, as thicker, heavier, machined-weed wigs. • When washing and styling, take extra care to handle hand-ed wigs gently. Follow the care instrucons provided. Visit with your local Joli Caméléon authorized professional – the experienced wig care expert. • When pung the wig on a wearer’s head or mannequin, or adjusng it, take care not to handle it roughly, or pull on the lace front as ﬁne lace can rip if not handled carefully.

• Machine-Weed Joli Caméléon hair creaons • Take care not to let liquid hair care products stay on the wes for prolonged periods. • Hair color, condioners, oils and products that build-up, are hard to rinse out and leave residue that can break down the glue used on the wes and cause premature hair loss.

• Hand-Knoed areas • Keep all hair care products away from the hair roots (hand-ed knot areas) completely. Hair color, condioners, oils and other residue can loosen and/or damage knots and cause hair loss. All Joli Caméléon wigs are hand-knoed on the top and some are hand-ed in the back.

• Coloring Joli Caméléon human hair creaons • Though human hair wigs can be colored by a trained professional, dramac changes in color are not recommended because the hair does not grow out. Thus any damage caused will remain indeﬁnitely. Blondes, especially planum blondes, are the most delicate hair color. It is not suggested to color them, especially not to li them with peroxide or bleach. We use a proprietary hair color system for our sophiscated color range. It withstands decolorizaon and oxidaon longer than most wigs, but may create incompabilies with familiar salon color formulas. Strand tesng is always recommended before coloring by a hair professional.

• Human hair, especially cucle hair, should be brushed at least two or three mes daily • Human hair wigs, especially when cucle intact, have a natural “drag” feel. They should be brushed, at minimum, morning and evening, just like biological hair. Use a wide tooth comb or your Joli Caméléon easy-care brush to smooth out the hair as human hair will naturally cling together from stac and fricon. Insuﬃcient maintenance risks tangling. This is especially true during hot weather or high energy acvity.

• Cleaning & maintaining our Silicone-aach hair creaon models, like the Joli Dancer™ • The silicone panels on these models of Joli Caméléon wigs, should be cleaned at least twice per day or aer acvity, to maintain best performance. Gently wipe with a warm washcloth and a very ny amount of soap/shampoo. Wipe again with plain water and dry.
