Well, we’re pushing 8 p.m. on Wednesday night. This paper hits the street in the morning and it was due to the printer at 5 p.m. So, it appears someone may have had a little too much fun over the 4th of July holiday and didn’t get enough work done. But that wouldn’t really be true. I just did a different kind of work, which left all of this paper-makin’ work to pile up on Tuesday night.

If you read my column last week, you probably know the kind of work I was doing instead. I was in the yard, 1 cubic yard deep in mulch.
