Katie’s first half term at Leicester College of Performing Arts

Katie absolutely loves life at LCPA, but she says it’s really hard work! Her day starts at 8.30 and finishes at 5.30. She spends the day in dance, singing and drama classes. She is due to take her Advanced Foundation exam in Modern Jazz very soon and is also working as a partner with a 3rd year student who is entering a choreography competition. Katie has recently started rehearsals for their annual production, Grease, which she tells me is already looking amazing! The show is in April and she will let us know when tickets are available. Katie has promised to come and see us when she is off over Christmas and take a class to show us what she’s been learning! We are all certainly looking forward to that!!

What did the dancer say when she walked into the studio?...
