Only the top fourteen teams have survived the exciting group phase marathon which was played for the first time with 28 teams on the starting grid. And before we set our sights towards the upcoming playoff matches let me just underline that the many thrilling matches between even opponents in the group phase has certainly justified our move to revitalise this stage of the competition.
