Page 4 July 2009 Historic Touring Torque Guest Speaker Very interesting Guest Speaker this month! Dean has secured Bill Santuccione as guest speaker for next week’s Club meeting. Bill was head hunted by Al Turner for the HO project back in the 70’s for Ford and was one of the four engineers entrusted to set up the vehicle operations centre in charge of preparing the works cars for motor sport – Bathurst in particular. He was chosen predominantly due to his work on the development of the Repco Brabham engines and the fact that he was the head dyno man on the engine development program that saw those engines win two world championships. He’s recently been on the speaking circuit with his old pal Alan Moffat, with whom he was involved when Alan campaigned the Boss Mustang around the country. Apparently, his talks are top stuff – don’t miss him! Check his Duvall Motorsport site at www.classiccargurus. com.au/classic-car-guru.asp?guruid=132 That’s him on the right! Don’t miss the Fun!
