HOLIDAY SHOPPING AND FUN STARTS WITH A TOLLTAG PLANO, TX –Dec. 16, 2014 – There’s still time to finish that holiday shopping and enjoy some festive entertainment with the help of a North Texas Tollway Authority TollTag. Experience the holiday season with convenience by visiting any of these popular shopping and entertainment destinations located along NTTA toll roads.

Dallas North Tollway The North Tollway is lined with prime entertainment and shopping destinations. The country’s tallest indoor Christmas tree can be seen at ; simply exit the Tollway at Alpha Road/Galleria. Travel farther north to check out the Ice Palace at (exit Park Boulevard) or spread holiday cheer at The Shops at Legacy (exit Legacy Road).

Just north of the /Sam Rayburn Tollway interchange in Frisco is one of the largest synchronized holiday light shows in Texas. The free, family-friendly holiday celebration, Christmas in the Square, is just off the Main Street exit from the Dallas North Tollway, near Pizza Hut Park. Running through Jan. 3, Christmas in the Square features more than 100,000 lights set to holiday music in a one- of-a-kind choreographed light show. It also will feature horse-drawn carriage rides, an inner-tube snow slide, a Christmas tree lot and Santa himself!

Sam Rayburn Tollway Take the Sam Rayburn Tollway and exit Parkwood Boulevard to do some shopping and meet Santa at Stonebriar Mall.

Continue west on the Sam Rayburn Tollway and exit Bass Pro Drive in Grapevine to find that must-have gift at or check out the Lone Star Christmas celebration at the Gaylord Texan Resort.

Santa also will be meeting and greeting guests at Vista Ridge Mall, northwest of the Sam Rayburn Tollway/Interstate 35E interchange in Lewisville.

President George Bush Turnpike The Bush Turnpike is the easiest way to get directly to I-30 and Holiday in the Park at Six Flags in Arlington. Enjoy a million dazzling lights, heartwarming shows, thrilling rides, Santa, special holiday activities and a wide variety of unique food and seasonal treats.

Over in Irving, don those blue suede shoes and spend Christmas with the king of rock ‘n’ roll. It's an Elvis Christmas Spectacular at the Irving Arts Center, starring renowned look-alike entertainer Kraig Parker and his Royal Tribute Band & Orchestra. Just exit Northgate Drive and head east or take the MacArthur Boulevard exit and drive south.

On the east side of the Metroplex, take the Bush Turnpike to the State Highway 78 exit in Garland for some festive holiday fun at . Sip hot cocoa and wrap up your holiday shopping at the outdoor retail destination.

Chisholm Trail Parkway Take the new Chisholm Trail Parkway to downtown Fort Worth for an array of holiday shows at Bass Performance Hall. Children and adults will delight at Texas Ballet Theater’s traditional performance of “The Nutcracker,” running all month long throughout the holiday season.

Enjoy a holiday tradition and settle in for Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at the Plaza Theatre Company in Cleburne. The story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his ghostly travels to the past, present and future is adorned with carols throughout the show.
