The goal of the Ride Safe Program is to reduce motor vehicle crash-related injuries among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) children in Tribal communities by promoting motor vehicle child safety seat use. As a participant, you will receive your requested number of child safety seats, this guide and technical support from the Injury Prevention Program. The purpose of this program is to identify effective ways to promote child safety seat usage in AI/AN communities. We will be measuring the announcement, application, and implementation process of the program. The information gathered during this project will help shape future Child Passenger Safety activities conducted by our program.
