Sara Rader brings 10 years of Catering Sales experience to The Crossings. As Director of Catering Sales, Sara is responsible for and excited to handle all Weddings and Social Events booked annually at The Crossings. Sara looks forward to sharing, promoting and selling this very special sARA RADER venue with all involved.

Christie D’Amico most recently joined us from the Monterey, CA area, where she worked as an Event Planner at two high end golf facilities. ne of the tougher things I have found when traveling or playing a golf course 3rd Annual for the first time is getting the right yardage. With the advent of GPS systems, O Laser Yardage Scopes and personal hand help GPS units it is much easier than Carlsbad City Amateur in the past. However, what if you don’t have one of these magical yardage givers, what do you do? When competing in tournaments I have a process that I use for every shot Golf Championship and I do mean every shot (excluding putting). Look for yardage markers / indicators to get yardage to center of the green. Saturday, November 6th and Sunday, November 7th, 2010 ¬ Sprinkler heads Gross championship ¬ yardage Poles What if you 1st Place ¬ yardage Discs don’t have Jimmy Harris 67-70 137 ¬ Cart path indicators one of these 2nd Place ¬ Bushes or Trees - sometimes at 150 yards forbes Collins 73-73 146 card off ¬ estimate distance pin is from center magical yardage of green + or - paces/yards 3rd Place givers, what Garrett Cypher 71-75 146 ¬ Adjust for uphill or downhill do you do? 4th Place ¬ Adjust for wind - with or against / Jerry Michals 74-74 148 crosswind severity card off It may seem like a lot of math but an informed distance will always help you hit greens John Malone 76-72 148 which will assure you of making par or better more often than not.

My favorite tips regarding yardages and getting them: Don’t get greedy sometimes the Net Championship middle of the green is the best place to be! 1st Place Pins located in extreme locations are the most dangerous, don’t hit at sucker pins! Steve Chubon 66-73 139 Aim for the middle of the green. Always get a yardage and if using an aid, always cross reference it with another source! 2nd Place John Davis 70-76 146

As always. Good golfing! 3rd Place William Hamilton 81-75 156
