Jun 27, 2013 09:57 BST Latest Ad For The Lumia 925 Mocks iPhone Users - Again

Nokia recently released the Lumia 925, is its newest flagship handset. Of course, the success of its Lumia 920 predecessor will be a tough act to follow, thanks to its millions of sales, critical acclaim and numerous awards. However, early reports suggest that the Lumia 925 has got off to an excellent start in the UK and a number of other European markets.

The Lumia 925 offers the appealing combination of a high end spec list and stylish design. The phone offers a polycarbonate and aluminium chassis, along with a 4.5 inch ClearBlack display, operating system and dual-core processor. Additionally, the handset is equipped with an 8.7 megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, which has proven to be superior to that of virtually every competing handset in tests, particularly when it comes to capturing images in low lighting conditions.

Mashable has recently reported on the latest ad for the Nokia Lumia 925, which showcases its outstanding camera features. The ad is set in a city at night time, and shows a Nokia Lumia 925 user walking down a deserted street. He is then suddenly blinded by flashing lights, which turn out to be the flashes from the cameras of Apple iPhone 5 handsets, which are being used by zombies. They are pictured with pale skin and red eyes, which hints that the camera of the iPhone 5 suffers from over-exposure. Additionally, with the iPhone 5 users being zombies, it follows Nokia's preferred angle of mocking iPhone users, which it has branded as ‘sheep’ and slaves to the brand if previous Lumia ads. The advert ends with a message which reads ‘The best pictures. Even without the flash’, boasting of the phones superior low lighting capture. With Nokia once again choosing to poke fun at iPhone users, we expect the company's future Lumia ads to follow the same theme.
