October 20, 2019 6 St. Bede 103 Hello Everyone! Last Saturday was our annual Glow Frisbee Night. All I can say is It was a FUN night!!! And Don’t miss it next year! Next weekend you will see boards at each entrance, these boards are a major fundraiser Maritza entitled Youth Thanks & Giving - a Harvest Carmona-Kelly Fundraiser for our Youth. On each board you will see envelopes with a designated dollar amount from $1 to $150 (they will be randomly spread out among the 3 boards). You are asked to participate by simply taking an envelope (you can take any money amount you like) and return it the next week (Nov. 3) with the designated money amount enclosed. To make it easy, you can drop the envelope in the collection basket the weekends of Nov. 3 & 4. This fundraiser replaces the Fall Festival Raffle Basket fundraiser we usually do in October. Our desire is that it will be an annual fundraiser and will allow us to replace some of the smaller fundraisers we have had (don’t worry, we will not stop selling sticky buns nor the stocks cakes. I realize how many of you look forward to them). PLEASE let me thank you, you are SO GENEROUS TO US ALREADY and we wholeheartedly appreciate your support. Our hope is that this will become our annual drive to develop our operat- ing budget and even to establish a fund to sponsor students in need to go to retreats. To achieve that goal there will even be special envelopes labeled “sponsor a student” and mystery envelopes. If you have any questions about the fundraiser you can contact me or speak to one of the teens who will be standing at the boards next Sunday. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Last weekend youth spoke at each Mass about the Steuben- ville Youth Conference trip we run each summer.
