General: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) Ltd. invites global tender from eligible applicants from all countries and all areas, for the scope “Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Rescue Vehicle for Kanpur and Agra Metro Depots”. 2. Key Details: Description of Work KNAG-06: Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Rescue Vehicle for Kanpur and Agra Metro Depots. Quantity 02 Nos. Cost of Tender Document 21,000/- (inclusive of all Taxes) (In the form of Demand Draft in favour of “U.P. Metro Rail Corporation Ltd” issued by schedule commercial bank based in India, payable at Lucknow.) The bidder or consortium/JV lead partner must be a proven manufacturer Bogie Turn Table who must meet the following conditions on date of opening of tender: Col 1 Conditions Quantity I The Rescue Vehicle which the bidder or lead partner must have 10 nos. supplied & commissioned in last five years ending on 31st March 2020. i(a) Deleted - Ii Out of the supplied Rescue Vehicle by the bidder or lead partner in the last five years i.e., ending on 31st March 2020, minimum number of Rescue Vehicle that should be in operation with 4 nos. satisfactory performance for a minimum period of 2 years after commissioning as on the date of opening of tender and supported by a recent performance certificate from clients. The tenderer shall attach the certificate from the clients for satisfactory operation of the machine. The certificate should not be older than 6 months on the date of opening of tender. ii(a) Deleted - The manufacturing unit, where the Rescue Vehicle is proposed to be manufactured & supplied against this tender, should have experience of manufacturing of at least 10 nos. Rescue Vehicle in last five years i.e. ending on 31st March 2020, out of which at least 04 nos. should have been working satisfactorily after commissioning for a minimum period of two years as on the date of opening of bids. The bidder shall give complete details to establish the credentials of the proposed manufacturing unit as mentioned herein. b. If a joint venture or consortium submits the bid, then lead partner should meet the criteria at a [i, i(a), ii & ii(a)] as above. c. The bidder if located outside India shall have an Indian associate for defects liability period and post defects liability period obligations, who should have at least 2 years experience of manufacturing the machines for railways/metros applications or of giving after-sales service for machines used in railways/metros or shall be RDSO/Railways approved vendors. In support of the above, relevant certificates from the respective clients should be submitted. d. The lead partner shall be fully responsible for supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the machine and training of engineers and also for coordinating maintenance and after sales service during DLP. e. A firm can be a partner only in one joint venture or consortium. Bids submitted by joint ventures or consortium, including the same firm, as partners in more than one bid will be rejected. 2 The firm shall furnish a performance statement as per enclosed Appendices FT-8 and FT- 17 attached giving the information on Rescue Vehicle supplied by him during the last 5 years. The technical offer of only those bidders who qualify the eligibility criteria as above shall be evaluated. In the absence of above informations as per of initial filter Criteria, the offer is liable to be treated as unresponsive and liable to be rejected.

    Kanpur Metro Completes a Century of U-Girder Erection in less than three months KANPUR (Metro Rail News): Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has accomplished another milestone today, by erecting 100 U-Girders under the Priority Corridor stretch of the Kanpur Metro Project. Strategically time management has led to this achievement in the ongoing civil construction of the Kanpur Metro’s 9 KMs long Priority Corridor (IIT to Motijheel). “The civil construction of the Kanpur Metro Project was inaugurated by the CM of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath on 15th Nov. 2019 and since then the construction works of the project are being executed with remarkable pace by UPMRC engineers to ensure availability of a world-class Metro service for the Kanpur city within the stipulated time frame”, the UPMRC said. “A total of 638 U-girders is to be placed at the viaduct of the Priority Corridor. The erection work was commenced on 12th August 2020 and in the time span of just 67 days, UPMRC has touched the mark of 100, which is no less than an achievement. Recently, UP Metro has also completed the erection of 100 double T-girders for constructing the base of concourse levels of the platforms and till now, the base of the concourse of both of IIT and Kalyanpur Metro stations has been prepared. 50 double T-girders were to be kept in the IIT Metro station and 52 in the Kalyanpur Metro station and this target has already been achieved”, said an official. By Narendra Shah - 07/09/2019 KANPUR (Metro Rail News): The civil works tender for building nine metro stations of the Kanpur Metro Rail project wins AFCONS Infrastructure limited as It emerg the lowest bidder among other competitors Larsen & Toubro Limited, KEC-CCECC JV and NCC. AFCONS Infrastructure will be responsible for constructing the nine metro stations in Kanpur and elevated viaduct structures for the same. 9 Metro Stations are:- The nine stations are IIT Kanpur Station, Kalyanpur Railway Station, Motijheel Station, Gurudev Chauraha Station, Geeta Nagar Station, Rawatpur Railway Station, Kanpur University Station, SPM Hospital Station and Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital Station. Cost of the tender The civil contract is worth Rs 676 crore while the whole project will cost an estimated Rs 11,076.48 crore. The technical bid for the project was also opened earlier last month (August 2019), and work will be contracted out for an estimated Rs 105.00 crore.
