PENSIONERS’ GROUPS CHRISTMAS FUND ALLOCATIONS

To inform the Committee of the allocation of the Pensioners’ Groups Christmas Fund to organisations in the East Livingston and East Calder Ward and to Livingston-wide and -wide organisations. B. RECOMMENDATION

TERMS OF REPORT Council approves the Pensioners’ Groups Christmas Fund each year. In 2008 the total fund amounts to £24,470 (£12,142 in 2007) and has been divided by the total number of beneficiaries 4,547 (4,308 in 2007). Summary statistics for the whole of West Lothian are:

Fourteen applications were sent out to local organisations and twelve were returned. The following table shows the allocations:
