Bernhard Langer, 68-68-65—201 (-18) • The World Golf Hall of Fame member carded nine birdies and entered the final hole leading by three. Langer bogeyed the 18th hole, his only bogey of the day, but ultimately still finished two strokes ahead of Woody Austin. • Langer improves his all-time career victories total to 41, now just four wins behind Hale Irwin, the Tour’s all-time leader with 45. • Langer extended his record to 14 straight seasons with at least one win on PGA TOUR Champions. • It was Langer’s first win at the Cologuard Classic in his fifth start. His career includes wins at 17 of the 27 tournaments on this year’s schedule. • At the age of 62 years, 6 months, 3 days, Langer is the fifth-oldest winner in Tour history. • The win marks Langer’s Tour-record eighth at age 60 or older and it is the 33rd tournament won by a player age 60 or older in Tour history. • This is the first time in Tour history that a tournament has been won by a player age 60+ in back-to-back years. Both Langer and 2019 champion Mark O’Meara were 62 when they won. • The win is Langer’s 100th top-three finish on PGA TOUR Champions (41 wins, 35 seconds, 24 thirds). Hale Irwin (111) is the only player with more top-three finishes on Tour (45 wins, 43 seconds, 23 thirds).

Cologuard Classic | Feb 28 – Mar 1

• Langer came back by four strokes (T5) to claim the Cologuard Classic title. The largest deficit he has overcome on PGA TOUR Champions is by six at the 2012 3M Championship and the lowest position he overcame en route to a victory was when he was T15 entering the final round of the 2012 SAS Championship. • The win is Langer’s 14th come-from-behind victory in an individual event on PGA TOUR Champions. Most recently, he came from three strokes back to win the 2019 Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex. • Langer is the Tour’s all-time money leader (current total: $29,168,842) and has won the money title 10 of the last 12 years. • With the win, the five-time winner of the Charles Schwab Cup moved to No. 1 in the Charles Schwab Cup for the first time this season. He has led the standings at least one week in each of the last nine years. Since 2008 (his first full season on Tour), he has led 134 of 285 weeks (47.02%).

Woody Austin, 69-68-66—203 (-16) • Austin began his final round five strokes off the lead, but a birdie on No. 2 and an ace on No. 4 put him right back in the game. Austin went on to post five more birdies and one bogey to finish two strokes off the lead for a solo- second finish. • His ace came by use of a 7-iron from 175 yards out and marks his second on PGA TOUR Champions. His first came at the 2019 PURE Insurance Championship in the second round on No. 17 with a 7-iron. • Woody’s runner-up finish is his sixth in seven years on PGA TOUR Champions. Prior to today, his best finish was runner-up at the 2019 Ally Challenge. • Austin is a past champion of the Cologuard Classic, winning in 2016 over Jimmy Carter by one stroke. He has finished inside the top 15 four of his five starts at the event. • Austin improved to No. 5 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings as he now is the only player alongside Langer to own top-10 finishes in all four starts this season.

Other Notes • Rod Pampling carded five birdies to move up the leaderboard and into a tie for the lead with Bernhard Langer. Bogeys on Nos. 14 and 16 took him out of contention and left him with a 3-under 70 finish. His tie for third marks his best finish on PGA TOUR Champions and moves him to No. 10 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. • First and second-round leader Brett Quigley posted a final-round even-par 73. He entered the final round leading by two strokes over Fred Couples, but a score of seven on the par-5 12th hole moved him out of contention and into a tie for third. Now owning three finishes in the top 10 this season, Quigley moves to No. 2 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. • Defending Champion, Mark O’Meara finished 17th after rounds of 69-69-71. • Darren Clarke carded his first ace on PGA TOUR Champions on No. 16 using a 6-iron from 186 yards out. He finished his second start at the Cologuard Classic T24. • Stephen Ames withdrew prior to the final round due to illness. • Steve Flesch withdrew following nine holes of play in the final round due to illness.
