NWDE January 4 Meeting Minutes

Called to Order by President Ted Heaton at 12:27 pm Location Roundtable Pizza 302 SW 43rd St Renton WA 98057

Treasure Report: Steve Carter (Treasurer) gave his treasurer report- we got $183 in dues in December for a total of $972.86 in dues in 2019. Our expenses for 2019 were $627.00. Steve is checking with our NWDE insurance as it may be we did not pay in 2019- this insurance is important as it covers our Dat- sun events. Old Business: Ted brought in 2020 Calendar (cost $15) for us to look at- if we want our pictures posted in it we need to be submitting pictures for consideration. He brought in event plaques for us to look at that are used in the Nether- lands meets. He also brought in a New Roadster Magazine and two green vintage Nissan Roadster service manuals that are not in print anymore– he passed them all around the tables for us to peruse. New Business: Ted Heaton mentioned three awards he was giving out: Last driver of the year and Accident of the Year went to David Niess First Driver of the year went to Dan Robinson. Bre Goss shared emblem design for girls hoodies or jackets that notes them as the Fairladies by having the Fairlady and a Fairlady Datsun on it and a lady driver driving with her hair flowing- She had showed a few design options but the most of the ladies though the emblem with their name under it on the back would be just fine and wanted to go with what would be economical. Adam gave some suggestions as to do the design as a transfer would be the most economical. Between him and Bre they would look into places to maybe get the clothing done and that give choices of outer ware( from jackets to hoodies) and will put the emblem on economically. Bre shared

NWDE January 4 Meeting Minutes

Wilburton Hill Park:

3 Hours of Datsun Fun

When: Saturday, March 28 10:00 am

What: Park, Gawk, Walk (to and through the Botanical Gardens)

Meet 10 in the parking lot (we will wave all Datsun’s in to the area that provides the most spaces for us to gather) and then we will all take off walking at 10:30 am

Back at 12 for a picnic (everyone pack a luncheon for two- bring a blanket unless we cannot find enough picnic tables together) and over by 1 to 1:30pm

Bre noted that Ted had said there was room to put it on the calen- dar. Several ladies said they and their guy were receptive to it and would tentatively make it. Ted noted that the Newsletter would be coming out via email and that he would get the March 28th event on it. He noted that the schedule for all upcoming events would be in the Newsletter. Ted noted that the Facebook situation is better and that Pete and him are the admins on the site. Ted mentioned that our Website NWDE.org (which per treasurer is $166.06 a year) is a disaster and we need a webmaster/admin for it. They noted that it is important as it archives are old docs like News- letters and Minutes. David Niess showed us a part that he got that did not work for his car- license plate lights. He wanted to know if anyone new what car they were for. Antonio Casila will organize and host The annual Winter DROPS Swap Meet in February or March at his house- more information to come Meeting Adjourned by Ted Heaton at 12:49 pm
