    Media Landscape 2002 Media Landscape of South East Europe 2002 1 This book is published under the Media Landscape project, implemented by ACCESS-Sofia Foundation within the South East European Network for Professionalization of the Media (SEENPM) and funded by the FRESTA Programme of the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The book presents the results of a survey conducted in 2003 by ACCESS-Sofia Foundation, Bulgaria, in eleven countries in South East Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia. The methodology of the survey was developed by ACCESS-Sofia Foundation. The relevant survey instruments were also elaborated by ACCESS-Sofia, with the kind assistance of Poul Erik Nielsen, Aarhus University, Danish School of Journalism. The data for the survey were kindly provided by our partner organizations as follows: For Albania: by the Albanian Media Institute (AMI), Tirana (Ilda Londo and Mirela Shuteriqi for AMI; with contributions from Gent Ibrahimi, Director of the Institute of Public and Legal Studies). The following persons were engaged on the project: Zoran Udovičić, head of the project, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Nuhić and Radivoje Budalić. Prof. Dr. Rudi Stojak, ing. Miroslav Močinić, ing. Peter Skert, ing Enes Jakić and economist Izudin Isović were consulted for respective sections of the project. Operative associate on project was ing. Silva Vujović. Computer backing was done by SOROS Media Center, and computer program made ing. Enes Jakić. Final report was completed on August 25, 1995. 1.   • Information in Minority Languages in the Balkans
    Media Plan Institute in cooperation with the Novi Sad School of Journalism, Journalism and Public Relations School from Skopje and independent analyst Nata{a Ru`i} implemented the research project Minorities and Media in the Western Balkans, which analyzed national minority media and programs for national minorities in four countries in the Western Balkan region. The project detects and describes the main problems in the operation of these media in relation to journalistic, social, political and financial challenges. This book is one of the results of the project. Prepared in the framework of the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP), which is run by the University of Fribourg upon a mandate of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
