Summary and Skills I am a hard-working emerging professional who understands the importance of a job well-done. I worked throughout my college career in my field of study to build a strong base of skills. At the same time I held outside jobs to help fund my education. I was honored to receive the top departmental scholarship award from BGSU two years in a row. Internships WTOL 11 – FOX 36, Toledo January 2017 – present Worked alongside reporters and videographers observing stories and practicing writing both television and web content. MSNBC, New York Summer 2017 MSNBC Live internship. Logged NBC News and MSBNC broadcasts and assisted with news gathering for the Executive Producer and Anchor. Contributed to story selection meetings. Monitored competing news broadcasts and breaking news updates from the Control Booth and Studio during all broadcasts. WKYC TV, June 2015 - August 2016 Appeared on air for Ways to Save with Matt Granite, a top rated consumer franchise in the country. Wrote articles corresponding products featured on TV. During Republic National Convention provided backup support including interviewing elected officials such as Senator Rob Portman. USA Today, Cleveland June 2015 - August 2016 Researched content for USA Today’s video production center with weekly content populating to USA Today Money.

Work Experience BG Falcon Media 2014 - Present Student-run multimedia organization. Primarily worked with BG24 News, the live/streamed broadcast news department that focused on campus and Bowling Green centered content with weekly news, sports and talk shows. • Involved from Fall 2014 through Spring 2018. Served various paid and un-paid roles including News Director, General Manager, Assignment Editor, News Anchor/Reporter.

• Developed news stories and covered significant on and off-campus events. Gained hands on experience producing/editing content for both a 30-minute newscast and social media. • Oversaw and provided the final say on video content for all 10 news reporters in BG24 News. Worked with the faculty of the BGSU Journalism/Public Relations Department on content management.

YouTube, Toronto and New York June 2015 - August 2016 • Featured in videos for The Deal Guy’s YouTube Channel. Filming took place at YouTube headquarters locations. City of Euclid 2012 - 2014 • Wrote article for the volunteer city newspaper, The Observer, covering a variety of community city events • Produced a video to promote the community swim team for use on the team’s website to educated parents and recruit potential swimmers.

Additional Work Experience • The Cookie Jar 2014-present Answering phones, working the counter and dealing with customers at a local delivery cookie shop in Bowling Green, Ohio.

• City of Euclid, Recreation Department 2011-2014 Certified lifeguard at large and neighborhood city pools. Trained in first aid. Taught swimming lessons to children ranging in age from 5-12.
