Overarching Issues

 Sustainability of funding.

 Supporting the development of youth provision in non-closing the gap areas through community and faith groups.

 There is a need to engage Key Partners who were unable to attend the events. Those who attended would encourage others to attend.

 The events were welcomed as a starting point for joint planning and partnership working.

 There are very distinct communities within Service Districts, which will require different approaches to developing provision.

 More information about Service Districts and other relevant initiatives is needed.

 Need to build better links with schools to enable a dialogue and partnership between schools and communities.

 Larger organisations need to support smaller providers to fully participate in the development of the strategy.

 Working together can make the best use of ideas, skills and resources.

 Area Panels.

WE MUST INVOLVE YOUNG PEOPLE AS KEY PARTNERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STRATEGY
