Denver Ballet Guild Young Dancers Competition Variations for 2020 Competition *** Year D Rotation ***
The Denver Ballet Guild's 37th Young Dancers Competition, to be held March 6, 7 & 8, 2020 will have a set list of classical ballet variations to choose from. Dancers competing in Categories III, IV and V must be prepared to perform one of the following variations if entering as a competitor. Dance professionals from nationally recognized schools were consulted in devising this list of familiar variations, many of them used in ballet competitions throughout the world. The variations are challenging and technically demanding but offer selections to allow for different levels of training. Technical competence, musicality and performance are just a few of the ways our judges determine a dancer' s score. ·
