Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide safe and accessible parking and transportation resources to the campus community and to visitors. We strive to efficiently manage the parking resources and to safely transport campus community members using the campus shuttle and charter services.

Message from the Director

Parking & Transportation Services is committed to providing quality service to the campus community. Our department has and will continue aggressively managing the demands associated with the ever-changing environment on our campus.

Transportation Transportation Services provides several on and off campus shuttle services. All shuttle services are provided free of charge to faculty, staff, students, and on-campus visitors.

FY15 Greenhouse Gas Savings from EV Charging Stations Community Service & Diversity

In an effort to help the local, surrounding community, Parking and Transportation Services has taken part in some local initiatives.

During Thanksgiving, the department again provided transportation for 100 residents of the Weinberg Housing Center shelter in Baltimore. They were taken to service at Empowerment Temple Church and served Thanksgiving dinner at Carolinas Kitchen in Hyattsville.

FY14 Greenhouse Gas Savings from EV Charging Stations Parking services also donated one Faculty/Staff parking permit, at no charge, to be raffled off at the TU Employee Picnic held in May.

Additionally, the department assisted with the Stuff- A-Bus campaign, which benefits the Maryland Food Bank and local soup kitchens with non- perishable food items, as well as the Marine Reserve Toys for Tots.
