Namens de werkgroep statistiek, Remko Riebeek - 6 - Statistisch jaarboek 2001 Nationale records gevestigd in 2001 Mannen 100 m 10.19 Troy Douglas AAC Zürich (SUI) 17-08-01 200 m 20.19 Troy Douglas AAC Rieti (ITA) 02-09-01 1.500 m 3.32.89 Gert-Jan Liefers Atletico ’73 Brussel (BEL) 24-08-01 2.000 m 4.56.56 Gert-Jan Liefers Atletico ’73 Berlijn (GER) 31-08-01 4 x 800 m 7.18.84 Atletico ’73 Genderingen Amstelveen 23-09-01 Joeri Voltman * Gert-Jan Liefers * Arnoud Okken * Bram Som Zweedse estafette 1.56.3= De Sperwers Emmen Amersfoort 16-09-01 (400-300-200-100 m) Ron Kuper * Chris Misker * Bram Kempkens * Jack Lubberman Neo-senioren (mannen) 800 m 1.43.98 Bram Som Atletico ’73 Monte Carlo (MON) 13-07-01 400 m hrd 51.15 Thomas Kortbeek Prins Hendrik Hoorn 19-05-01 Jongens junioren 800 m 1.45.64 Arnoud Okken Atletico ’73 Bejing (CHN) 01-09-01 M40 200 m 22.27 Eric Roeske Hellas Hengelo 04-06-01 22.18 Eric Roeske Hellas Leiden 09-06-01 400 m 48.76 Eric Roeske Hellas Vilvoorde (BEL) 23-06-01 4 x 100 m 42.27 Nationaal team Nederland Breda 25-08-01 Eric Roeske * Erik Oostwegel * Kees van Pelt * Kay Schaafsma Verspringen 6.69 Alje Kuiper Ilion Gemert 02-09-01 Zweedse estafette 2.06.3= Prins Hendrik Vught Gemert 02-09-01 (400-300-200-100 m) Kees van Pelt * Jeroen Bronwasser * Cees Beekmans * Jack Cadée M45 Kogelslingeren 55.71 Peter van Noort De Spartaan Leiden 13-05-01 57.47 Peter van Noort De Spartaan Kerkrade 17-06-01 Gewichtwerpen 11.42 Hans Mulders PSV Eindhoven 10-02-01 11.68 Hans Mulders PSV Eindhoven 26-05-01 4 x 800 m 9.23.70 Lionitas Leeuwarden Amstelveen 23-09-01 Jan Jepma * René van Kaam * Auke Postma * Cor Wetting M50 2.000 m 6.02.2= John van der Wansem LADB Aalsmeer 08-08-01 5.53.24 John van der Wansem LADB Utrecht 17-08-01 3.000 m 8.57.15 John van der Wansem LADB Leiden 02-05-01 5.000 m 15.20.35 John van der Wansem LADB Kerkrade 27-05-01 10.000 m 32.17.58 Maliy Victor Haag Atletiek Veenendaal 12-04-01 1 uur 17.692 John van der Wansem LADB Roosendaal 20-09-01 Hoogspringen 1.82 Jan Huijbers GAC Gemert Veldhoven 20-05-01 Hinkstapspringen 11.23 Koos Reiding R' dam Atletiek Rotterdam 13-07-01 speerwerpen 46.54 Fred Harmens Climax Veldhoven 20-05-01 Gewichtwerpen 18.39 Martin Regtop AC TION Huizen 07-10-01 Werpvijfkamp 3.568 Jack Dekker a.v. DAILY NATION - Galaxy of stars light up Kibera Page 1 of 1 MONDAY December 15, 2008 FOOTBALL Galaxy of stars light up Kibera Shoe4Africa All Stars team’s Robert Cheriyot dribbles past Carolina for Kibera defender Mercy Akinyi as teammate Martin Lel (left) closes in during their celebrity football match, on Saturday. By CHRIS MUSUMBAPosted Saturday, December 13 2008 at 18:42 IN SUMMARY Multiple champions join celebrated ER actor in Shoe4Africa charity game in slum An embarassment of talent was on show at the Kibera Primary School on Saturday with a galaxy of the world’s top marathon stars on parade on a sports-for- peace mission. Interestingly, the multiple champions were not lining up for yet another marathon, but tried their hands, or legs if you like, in a charity football match against a Kibera women’s football team under the Shoe4Africa charity initiative. Former world marathon champion Paul Tergat, two-times London Marathon champion Martin Lel, four-times Boston Marathon winner Robert “Mwafrika” Cheruiyot, former Boston Marathon runner-up Christopher Cheboiboch and 1992 Olympic steeplechase gold medallist Mathew Birir were in the team that won the match 3-1. Also fielded was 1987 world marathon champion Douglas Wakiihuri, American television drama series, ER, actor Anthony Edwards, aka Dr Mark Greene and Shoe4Africa founder Toby Tanser. The match followed a five-kilometre women’s run which saw over 3,000 runners get free T-shirts and running shoes from Shoe4Africa who are on a fund raising mission to raise money to build a Sh1 billion children’s hospital in Eldoret.

  • Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers
Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers ANNUAL REPORT 2005 - 2006 This has been a very busy year but it is pleasing to report a successful year. Apart from the usual compact fixture programme members have been involved in many representative fixtures with success and a survey by Runners World Magazine showed that we were the Number One overall Club in the UK. A record number of members were selected for the Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, Australia. Trecia Smith representing Jamaica won the women triple jump and Nick Neiland took gold for England in the men’s javelin. England representatives were Natasha Danvers Smith 2nd in the women’s 400m Hurdles, Nadia Williams 3rd for England in the women’s triple jump, Jo Ankier 7th in the women’s steeplechase, Marilyn Okoro 7th in the women’s 800m, Emma Ania was 8th in the women’s 100m, David Parker 9th in the men’s javelin, Julie Dunkley 10th in the women’s shot and Ellie Spain 11th in the women’s pole vault. Zoe Brown represented Northern Ireland and finish 12th in the women’s pole vault.
