SYNOPSIS

All airports need to have the infrastructure in place in order to provide efficient operations in line with safety, the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s Standards and Recommended Practices (ICAO-SARPS) on reliability and security, allow aircraft to operate efficiently in the air as well as on the ground, minimize inconvenience for passengers, and provide fast and reliable baggage delivery systems. As air traffic continues to grow, airports need to ensure that each system is flexible enough to accommodate future requirements.

These two days seminar are design to provide participants with some knowledge of airports mechanical and electrical from a design perspective, in respect of the latest development of the industry, the merits & weakness and future direction of technical innovation.

Participants will explore the standard and guideline used in designing an airport, both landside and airside. Furthermore, they will be rewarded with first-hand information about the equipment and products technologies by the speakers coming from different airport specialist industries.
