Nursing Services in Perry Township Schools protect and promote student health to increase valuable educational time and to encourage well- ness in our community. Responsibilities of this department include tracking students’ immunizations, monitoring self-administered medica- tions, assisting with student accidents, diabetic student care and more. Nurses and clinic assistants complete clinical documentation in Sky- ward. This process allows the district to track student visits to the clinic which may help discover undiagnosed conditions by tracking patterns of illness and/or medical needs. Clinic assistants are trained by licensed nurses, who serve as resource nurses for the elementary schools. The district’s Nursing Supervisor is Esther L. Moeller, RN, BSN.
