The pleasure results from the fact that the book is the outcome of our survey of the Historic move- ment in the redeeming activity of God as seen in the Old Testament, in the Westminster Bible School. While I was giving lectures on that subject, it was my good fortune to have the co—operation of Mr. Mar- tin Anstey, in a series of lectures on these dates. My work was that of sweeping over large areas, and largely ignoring dates. In addition, a systematic review comparing the Thessaly’s test with a long standing test such as the McMurray test has not been previously conducted. Objective: To systematically identify and appraise all empirical studies comparing the diagnostic accuracy of the Thessaly test and McMurray test. Procedure: Eligible studies were identified through a rigorous search of ScienceDirect, CINAHL Plus, Pubmed, PEDro, EMBASE and Cochrane Library from January 2004 until August 2014. Full English reports of studies investigating the accuracy of the Thessaly test and McMurray test. Quality Assessment of Studies of Diagnostic Accuracy (QUADAS) scores were completed on each selected article. Results: The Thessaly test reported to have higher diagnostic accuracy values (61-96%) compared to the McMurray test (56-84%). -

Powell III, Jamie Beavers, and Emmanuelle Monte Arkansas State University A rank-ordered list was constructed that reports the first 99 of the 100 most eminent psychologists of the 20th century. Eminence was measured by scores on 3 quantitative variables and 3 qualitative variables. The quantitative variables were journal citation frequency, introductory psychology textbook citation frequency, and survey response frequency. The qualitative variables were National Academy of Sciences membership, election as American Psychological Association (APA) president or receipt of the APA Distinguished Scientific Contributions Award, and surname used as an eponym. The qualitative variables were quantified and combined with the other 3 quantitative variables to produce a composite score that was then used to construct a rank-ordered list of the most eminent psychologists of the 20th century. We present a case in which a fracture-dislocation appeared irreducible because of a fixed dislocation of the proximal fibula fragment behind the lateral tibia ridge. This so-called Bosworth fracture-dislocation was however initially not appreciated from the initial radiographs, but was identified during urgent surgical management. The trauma-mechanism, radiographs, treatment, and literature are discussed Keywords Fibula; Ankle; ORIF; Fracture-dislocation; Bosworth 2 Introduction Acute fracture-dislocations of the ankle occur infrequently but are a true orthopedic emergency. Besides the intense pain and distress caused to the patient, the gross displacement may cause pressure necrosis of the anterior skin, vascular and neurologic impairment, and compressive damage to the cartilage of the talar dome and tibia joint surface. Immediate reduction of the fracture, and thereby relieving the compromised neurovascular structures provides overall good results. There are several case reports and series reporting on non-reducible fracture-dislocations of the ankle1-3. -

Methods: Fifty-six members of the special force brigade of the military who had sustained ankle fractures during parachute land- ings between January 2005 and April 2010 were retrospectively analyzed. The injury sites and fracture sites were identified and the fracture types were categorized by the Lauge-Hansen and Weber classifications. Follow-up surveys were performed with re- spect to the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society ankle-hindfoot score, patient satisfaction, and return to preinjury activity. Results: The patients were all males with a mean age of 23.6 years. There were 28 right and 28 left ankle fractures. Twenty-two patients had simple fractures and 34 patients had comminuted fractures. The average number of injury and fractures sites per person was 2.07 (116 injuries including a syndesmosis injury and a deltoid injury) and 1.75 (98 fracture sites), respectively. -
