Objective of the Briefing

 To brief members on the gazette scheme of the proposed Boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor (IEC) (Boardwalk), including the gazette procedure and the enhancement of the Boardwalk scheme

 In response to the public views to commence the construction works as early as possible, preparation works are ongoing and will be completed by phases

 The proposed scheme is ready for gazettal and we will continue to work on the architectural and landscape design of the Boardwalk and consult HC in due course
