Objective of the Briefing
To brief members on the gazette scheme of the proposed Boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor (IEC) (Boardwalk), including the gazette procedure and the enhancement of the Boardwalk scheme
In response to the public views to commence the construction works as early as possible, preparation works are ongoing and will be completed by phases
The proposed scheme is ready for gazettal and we will continue to work on the architectural and landscape design of the Boardwalk and consult HC in due course
