  • Zenith Joins Patrick Mouratoglou As the Official Timekeeper of Uts Season 2
ZENITH JOINS PATRICK MOURATOGLOU AS THE OFFICIAL TIMEKEEPER OF UTS SEASON 2 May 24 marked the start of the second season of UTS (Ultimate Tennis Showdown), a new tennis league created by Zenith Friend of the Brand Patrick Mouratoglou. A supporter and partner since its first edition in 2020, Zenith is proud to take on the role of “Official Timekeeper” for this innovative, intense and spectacular showdown of rising tennis stars. In a bid to bring tennis to a younger and wider audience, UTS breaks away from the conventional format and rules of tennis tournaments with a lighter code of conduct and emphasis on entertainment. Here, players can bring out their personalities on the court like never before. Taking place at the Mouratoglou Academy in the French Rivera, on clay courts, UTS4 – the first event of the second season – saw ATP-ranked players Diego Schwartzman, Grigor Dimitrov, Cristian Garin, Alexander Bublik, Daniil Medvedev, Fabio Fognini, Taylor Fritz and Corentin Moutet battle it out on the court in a fun and dynamic series of matches over two days. On Tuesday May 26th, Corentin Moutet “The Tornado” lifted the fourth UTS lightning bolt trophy, defeating Taylor Fritz “The Hotshot” 3-1 in the final. The lowest-ranked player at UTS4, the Frenchman showed that mastering the format is key at UTS. Undefeated, Moutet breezed past Fritz, Fognini, Garin, and World No. 2 Medvedev to win his first UTS title. “The Tornado” was the most experienced player of the field, competing in the league for the third time. After falling short in the UTS2 semifinal, Moutet had revenge on his mind at UTS4.

Karatsev really suit me. I hope I can keep going. 6-3, 6-0 Q. Growing up in Florida, I assume you had a chance to go to the Miami Open when it used to be out on Key THE MODERATOR: Questions, please. Biscayne at Crandon Park. Can you compare the atmosphere between there and Hard Rock Stadium? Q. You played like a complete match. Your statistics in return of serve were great. You played amazing SEBASTIAN KORDA: Yeah, I mean, I haven't been to Key against a great player like Aslan who won Dubai a few Biscayne in a super long time, but that's like my first real weeks ago. How do you feel today on court? tennis memory was when I came here with Radek Stepanek, and I thought it was the coolest thing because SEBASTIAN KORDA: Yeah, I felt great. I mean, I think he played Bobby Reynolds first round, and it was like 6-3, my game goes really well against his. I used my tactics 3-6, 6-3, and I thought the scoreline was the coolest thing. that I used at the French Open, and it kind of worked out really well today. That was kind of my first memory of it, and, yeah, he actually beat -- I'm pretty sure he beat James Blake, the Q. I'm going to ask you about your next match, that tournament director here in the third round, I want to say, in it's Diego.

Both will aim to use home advantage to have a good run here this year – Monfils will look for a repeat of his 2008 performance when he reached the semifinals, while Pouille will hope to emulate the form he displayed in reaching the last 4 at the Australian Open in January to impress the home fans in Paris. • Monte Carlo champion Fabio Fognini takes on fellow Italian Andreas Seppi in the first match on Court Simonne Mathieu today. It will be the 8th all-Italian meeting at Roland Garros in the Open Era and the 16th all-Italian clash at the Grand Slams in the Open Era. The pair are tied at 4 wins apiece in their previous Tour-level match-ups, but Seppi has not beaten his compatriot and Davis Cup teammate since 2010 and will have to put in an inspired performance if he is to defeat to the No.
