Boys Children Registered with UNHCR Girls

At the end of June some 3,622 children were 1.846 registered with UNHCR, including 3,508 children 1.662 in families, 77 children who are unaccompanied by a parent or other adult relative, and 37 children who are separated from their parents but Girls Boys Boys living with an adult caregiver. Together with our Girls partners, UNHCR is working to ensure all children have access to an education, and as of June some 700 refugees were enrolled in 23 54 10 27 accredited national schools. Persons Registered with UNHCR in Detention and Alternatives to Detention

Some 19 persons registered with UNHCR, or less than 1 percent of the population were in immigration detention at the end of June, none are children and woman. UNHCR continues to advocate to end the 14 detention of refugees in Indonesia and for those being detained to be released to alternative arrangements including placement in community accommodation, periodic reporting mechanisms, or community supervision.
