Brief about Killa Saifullah: Killa Saifullah is a district in the north west of Balochistan province of . a sub tribe of Kakar Sunzerkhel. A part of was named after him because of his bravery. Keeping in view the Geographical position of the Area. Killa Saifullah is one of the central city of Balochistan. It has great value because of its agricultural products. Killa Saifullah became a district on 14 December 1988. Qilla Saifullah used to be part of Fort Sandaman (Appozai District) and known as Zhob sub-division. In 2006 Kashatoo sub-tehsil of was transferred to Qilla Saifullah district with a new name, Badinai. After the inclusion of Badinai sub-tehsil, (whose area is not known) in Qilla Saifullah District, the district was re-organised as far as administrative division is concerned. At present the district is divided into two sub-divisions: Qilla Saifullah and Muslim Bagh. Kila Saifullah sub-division comprises one tehsil (Killa Saifullah) and one sub-tehsil (Badinai). Killa Saifullah tehsil is further sub-divided into 2 Qanungo circles and then into 5 patwar circles. The entire Badinai sub-tehsil is a Qanungo circle as well as patwar circle. Muslim Bagh sub-division comprises Muslim Bagh tehsil and Loiband sub-tehsil. The entire Muslim Bagh tehsil is one Qanungo circle, further sub-divided into 4 patwar circles. The Loiband sub-tehsil consists of one qanungo circle and is sub-divided into 2 patwar circles Over 99% of the people of the area are Muslims. The population of Kila Saifullah district is estimated to be over 50,0000 in 2005. The vast majority of the population of Killa Saifullah is Pakhtun. has been divided into two administrative units i.e., Tehsils and Killa Saifullah

Killa Saifullah Tehsil comprises 08 union councils

 Badini  Sadar  Town  Musafirpur  Sharan Jogezai  Tubli  Akhterzai  Batozai  Muslim BaghMuslim Tehsil comprises 07 union councils  Kan Mehterzai Mugha Faqirzai Sadar Town Loiband Nasai Ragha Sultanzai

Overall Damges: The current wave of torrential rains have affected six union councils including Sadar Killa Saifullah, Town Killa Saifullah, UC Nasai, Akhterzai, Kan Mehterzai and Sharan Jogezai in both of the Tehsils i.e. Muslim Bagh and Killa Saifullah of District. In total 04 people were killed and 97 Injuries, estimated 740 acres of cultivated fields of orchards (Apple , pomegranate and apricot), Vegetables (Tomato, Chilli & Carrot, Toabbco and Watermelons crops were affected.. On total, 56 water tube wells (submersible) were total ruined and 123 hundred Livestock including Sheep and goats, cattle & donkeys were also swipe away in the recent floods. Five national highway bridges, 03 Primary School, One Rural Health Centre (RHC), 02 religious Madressas, 273 houses and 02 trucks were destroyed and devastated. The total cost of the devastation is estimated 1 billion rupees by the District government. The Internally Displaced people (IDPs) numbered 7000.

Damages’ of Houses:

Current Rainfall Spell: Dams filled. The current spell in country where floods have created a lot of damages in diiferent areas of Pakistan. Likewise these torrential rainfall has created havoc and floods have claimed many precious human lives and swiped away the infrastructure. The affected areas include both Tehsils of Killa Saifullah. The details ara as;

1- Tehsil Killa Saifullah: a- UC Sadar Killa Saifullah b- UC Akhterzai c- UC Sharan Jogezai d- UC Town Killa Saifullah

2- Tehsil Muslim Bagh a- UC Kan Mehterzai b- UC Nisai

1.1 UC Sadar Killa Saifullah:

In Tehsil Killa Saifullah, UC Sadar is situated on the western side of the district headquater and comprising of Population 65000 and the UC is also considered the backbone of Killa Saifullah agriculture, has been badly affected by the recent floods. The UC is situated in a nearby northern mountainous range, 15 KM away from the Killa Saifullah District headquarters on the main Quetta road. The floods damaged 145 houses, one Madressa, One Primary School, Rural Health Centre (RHC) near the Molvi Bakhtiar Ada on the main Killa Saifullah-Quetta Road. The flood also swiped away the two bridges on the main National Highway (N-50) where one truck loaded with Apple was thrown away. Killa Saifullah district where Apple, Tomato , tobacco, and carrot seasons are on its peak now a days, the floods have 13 apple gardens, 175 acres of tomato, carrot and chili (Sabz Mirch) crops and 06 tubewells (submersibles water pumps) were also destroy.

1.2 UC Akhterzai: The UC is situated on the eastern side of the district headquater and is comprising of the population 49000. The main sources of income of the people are related to agriculture and Livestock. The floods from Southern Mountains of the union council ruined many livestock including sheep, goats and cattle. The floods also damaged Water reservoirs (Bandats) that were retained for agriculture purpose.

1.3. UC Sharan Jogezai: The UC Sharan Jogezai is situated on the Northern side of the district headquater and is comprising of the population 25000. The main sources of income of the people are related to agriculture and Livestock. The floods from western Mountains of the union council ruined many livestock including sheep, goats and cattle. The floods claimed 03 and 02 injured precious human lives. The floods also damaged Water reservoirs (Bandats) that were retained for agriculture purpose.

1.4 UC Town Killa Saifullah: In Tehsil Killa Saifullah, UC Town is comprising of Population 105000. The floods damaged 35 houses, one Madressa. The flood also swiped away the two link Roads. The Town is the main bazar Aera of Killa Saifullah in which DC Office, National bank, DHQ Hospital, Police and Levies Tanaa, Boys and Girls Colleges, Boys and Girls High School. The main sources of income of the people are related to agriculture, Business,Government Emplyees and Livestock.

2.1. UC Kan Mehterzai: The UC Kan Mehterzai is situated on the Western side of the Tehsel Muslim Bagh and is comprising of the population 42000. The main sources of income of the people are related to agriculture and Livestock. The floods cleaned out many livestock including sheep, goats and cattle. The floods claimed 01 precious human lives and 01 Car distorted. The floods also damaged Water reservoirs (Bandats) that were retained for agriculture purpose.

2.2 UC Nisai: The UC Nisai is situated on the Eastren side of the Tehsel Muslium Bagh and is comprising of the population. The main sources of income of the people are related to agriculture and Livestock. The floods from Northern and southern Mountains of the union council ruined many livestock including sheep, goats and cattle. The house of Senior minister Molana Abdul Wasi is situated in UC Nisai and thare are cadet Collage and Afghan refugee camp in this UC. The floods also damaged Water reservoirs that were retained for agriculture purpose.

He is great man and helpful parson he agree with team to shift affected family to Madrasa after this YOUTH IN ACTION BALOCHISTAN team shift two affected family to Madrasa and they were fully facilitate. YOUTH IN ACTION BALOCHISTAN team also meet with development officer on the spot and discouse about distribution of Cambal, Chatai and Tent, rice, oil and water basic needs of human. YOUTH IN ACTION BALOCHISTAN team also tell to development officer that can be provide the vehicle and cooperate with administration team of qilasaifullah. .
