AngelShares - New Crowdfunding Website AngelShares crowdfunding website is now live. See website for more details: www.AngelShares.com If you, or someone you know is interested in posting a project, or making a donation contact: Sarah Gee on [email protected] AngelShares, a new philanthropic crowd funding website for arts and cultural projects, has launched in the UK. Projects are posted on the site by organisations or individual artists, curated by the AngelShares team, and donors are then encouraged to invest to make the projects happen. The donors’ ‘return’ comes in the form of exclusive benefits offered by the project owners, such as opportunities for private visits to galleries or historic houses, opportunities to meet creative artists, or quirky gifts or acknowledgements of their support. AngelShares offers a very flexible approach for those seeking support. It is the only arts and cultural crowdfunding site that collects Gift Aid on donations, and offers projects the option of setting an income target by a timed deadline, or simply receiving on-going donations.
