She immediately dialed 101, MDA’s emergency phone number, and provided information to Nir Grosbard, MDA EMT Dispatcher. Nir dispatched MDA First Responders and an MDA MICU to them, all the while guiding her on how to give CPR, until the arrival of the MDA Teams. Eliran's wife, who had previous MDA CPR training, gave her husband CPR in a cool, calm and collected way, which majorly impacted the success of the outcome. A team of trained MDA EMTs and Paramedics arrived to give medical assistance. Nathaniel Angel - MDA Medi-Cycle First Responder recalls: "I live close to Eliran's home. I immediately jumped on to my fully-equipped MDA Medi-Cycle. On arrival, I saw a 30 year old male, with his wife preforming CPR on him. He was without pulse and not breathing. MDA First Responders, Shlomi Forgas, Avi Applebaum and Israel Zaltz joined me at the scene. All of a sudden, I saw that the couple’s four year old son was watching us. I asked his mother to take him out of the room and we continued our lifesaving efforts.” An MDA MICU team, Yoel Glut - Senior EMT and Tomer Fein - Paramedic, also arrived and provided advanced life support, IV medications and 7 electrical shocks. After a while, Eliran’s pulse returned and he was taken by MDA MICU to hospital, where he began to move his arms and legs again. A few days later, he opened his eyes and woke up. The MDA teams came to visit him in hospital and were so happy to see his recovery going so well.
