AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Averaged 4.9 points (tied for seventh on the team), 1.3 assists (fifth) and 1.4 rebounds (11th) as he played in 33 of the Seminoles’ 35 games in his first season at Florida State…played in all 18 of Florida State’s regular season conference games, both of their games in the ACC Tournament and two games in the NCAA Tournament…scored in double figures in three games including tying his season-high of 13 points in the first ACC game of his career against Wake Forest (Dec. 28)…also scored 13 points against Illinois in the Seminoles’ final game of the NIT Tip-Off Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and totaled 11 in Florida State’s victory over George Washington in the BB&T Classic at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C (Dec. 4)…in averaging 12.5 minutes played per game, he played in double figure minutes in 24 of his 33 appearances including his career-high of 25 minutes in the Seminoles’ 72-61 win over Illinois at the Barclays Center in the final game of the NIT Season Tip-Off…was the first time in his career that he played 25 or more minutes in a game…enjoyed one of the best games of his career against the Fighting Illini with 13 points (on five of eight shooting from the field) to go along with four rebounds, one and one steal…was also a perfect two of two from the 3-point line…his five made field goals established his career high…totaled eight first half points and five in the second half as Florida State pulled away in the second half for the victory…scored six first half points on consecutive 3- point shots within 53 seconds of each other…his first (at the 12:52 mark) pulled Florida State to within 11-10 while his second (at the 11:59 mark) tied the game at 13-13…scored what proved to be the game-winning basket and added a free throw after he was fouled with under 10 minutes remaining to be played in the game…made a lay-up and the free throw after being fouled at the 9:52 mark to give the Seminoles a 47-44 lead…Florida State never trailed after that basket…played very well during Florida State’s incredible early ACC season run that saw the Seminoles win five of six consecutive games against nationally ranked teams…the Seminoles played and defeated No. 11 Virginia (60-68, Dec. 31), No. 21 Virginia Tech (93-78, Jan, 7), No. 7 Duke (88-72, Jan, 10), No. 15 Notre Dame (83-80, Jan. 15) and No. 12 Louisville (Jan. 21) in one of the greatest six-game spans in school and ACC history…the Seminoles’ 5-1 record in the six-game stretch is the best by an ACC team in league history against six consecutive nationally ranked teams…averaged 4.7 points and 12.3 minutes played per game during the incredible stretch…career-high tying and ACC career-high of 13 points came in the Seminoles’ first ACC win of the season over Wake Forest at the Donald.
