Reliable, Affordable, Digital Communications

pspc.harris.com Understanding Your Next System: A Brief Introduction to DMR

Digital (DMR) is an international standard for land mobile that allows for two concurrent conversations on a single channel. The DMR standard is supported by a growing number of manufacturers of Tier III digital trunking systems and Tier II digital conventional products.

DMR is the new standard for professional radio users. When you select Harris Momentum, you can be certain that all your equipment is fully compliant with the DMR standard. The Momentum solution is the perfect choice for budget-minded public agencies or private enterprises.

IOP Certification Means Peace of Mind

The DMR Association has created certification through the Interoperability Process (IOP) to ensure equipment from various manufacturers complies with the standard resulting in interoperability between radios from different suppliers. Interoperability testing is conducted and the results of successful tests are posted on the DMR Association web site for users to review when considering a DMR purchase.

Momentum radios have been certified by the DMR Association IOP. IOP certified Momentum products provides customers with peace of mind that our radios and systems will work in conjunction with other IOP certified products and systems.
