Amer Group's Atomic Successes

Atomic team staff dominated the Alpine World Skiing Championships in , with participants using Atomic products winning half of the medals on offer and those competing in the men's races winning 14 out of the 15 medals on offer.

In particular, 's , using Atomic skis, was a superstar of the championships. He won gold medals in slalom and combination, silver in and bronze medal in super-G. After 14 years , also an Atomic athlete won the giant slalom gold medal for Austria. from the USA participated in five disciplines and won two gold medals. He dominated the speed disciplines.

Since Atomic was established in 1955, racing has been an important part of testing and developing its products. Top athletes make a critical contribution to R&D. Their expertise and experience helps to develop the very best equipment. The overall men's World Cup title has been won in each of the last nine years by skiers using Atomic skis. This year the winners were from no less than four different countries: Austria (Benjamin Raich, Hermann Maier), the USA (Bode Miller, Daron Rahlves), Italy (Giorgio Rocco) and Norway (Aksel Svindal). In addition, Germans Florian Eckert and stood astride the podium in the team competition.
