Step by step guide to configure the Bliss Handling a new-born isn’t easy. Between all the diapering, feeding, disturbed sleep schedules, burping, sterilizing bo�les and what not, new parents get totally overwhelmed!

Congratula�ons on your li�le one and welcome to Bliss, your baby’s first smart device. The Bliss Bassinet is an featuring unique mo�ons that allow you to rock your baby to sleep or pacify her while keeping you totally hands-free.

So, let’s get started. Configuring Bliss is a breeze. Just follow these simple steps and you will be on your way to ‘bliss’! You will need - 1. Home Wi-Fi connec�on (2.4 ghz) 2. An iOS or Android smart phone connected to the Wi-Fi 3. A smart home device like Amazon Echo or Google Home also connected to the same Wi-Fi 4. A Power connec�on 5. Your Bliss Bassinet assembled and kept right next to your Wi-Fi router. It has to be physically close to the router to establish connec�on. You can carry the Bassinet back into the nursery once the pairing is done.

To operate the Bliss Bassinet using your phone, download 01 and install the ‘Smart Life’ app using the App Store/Play Step Store. This app will act as a forever link between your Bliss Bassinet and home Wi-Fi connec�on.

When you open the app, you will be able to sign-up and create your profile. Save your login creden�als. 02 You may need them again to be able to control the Step Bassinet using devices like Amazon Echo or Google Home.

Once you are signed in, press the plus ‘+’ sign seen 03 in the top right corner or click on ‘Add Device’. This Step ac�on will lead you to a screen, showing a list of various devices available. On the le� side of the screen, select ‘Small Home Appliances’. Now scroll down un�l you find ‘Crib’ in 04 the ‘Life’ sec�on. Now that you have spo�ed the Step ‘crib’, keep the phone aside but you will need it back in a minute.

Now plug one end of the Bliss power cord into the wall socket and switch it ON. Make sure you have already plugged in the other end of 05 the cord into the Bliss socket. Now long press the Bliss Power bu�on Step and let go when the bu�on starts to blink. A blinking bu�on means it is in sync mode.

Pick up your phone where your Smart Life app is already open and is showing this screen. Now click 06 on ‘Confirm indicator rapidly blink’. Step On the right-side top corner of the screen it says ‘Pairing Mode’ is something to be done with it? If yes, it will have to be men�oned here. You will then be asked to enter your Wi-Fi username and password. Go ahead with this step. Now your Bliss Bassinet, your Wi-Fi and your Smart Life App are all ready to get paired!

Next screen will show you a percentage circle 07 deno�ng the progress of the connec�on. Now sit Step back and relax as the connec�on completes automa�cally without any interven�on needed. You may now bring the Bliss Bassinet back to the nursery.

As the device is found, and sync is 100% done, your 08 smart phone is connected to the Bliss Bassinet. Step

Now let us tune into features of the Bliss Bassinet. 09 You will find it listed as a device in your Smart Life Step app for an easy go-to. You will now see the Control Pad when you open the applica�on.

Using the Control Pad is easy and comfortable. You 10 can switch the Bliss Bassinet on and off using the Step Power bu�on at the bo�om of the screen. The Bassinet lights, music and slider can also be controlled. You are now half-way there. All that is le� is to configure the Bliss interface within the Smart Life app. Let’s get to it. You can control these func�ons by using the Control Pad. 1. Switching the Bliss Light on and off 2. Controling the intensity of the edge lights 3. Styling of the edge ligh�ng A - Sta�c Light B - Running Light 4. Controlling the music 5. Volume controls of music 6. Auto slider func�oning 7. Controlling speed of the slider 8. There is a �mer se�ng available in the app to schedule behavior of the Bliss Bassinet coinciding with your baby’s sleep pa�erns. For instance, if you know your baby cries as soon as she wakes up a�er her nap at 4pm every day; a scheduling of music for 4 pm each day can make your life way easier. Or the �mer could be set for switching the Bassinet on or off at fixed �mes. Bu�on no 9 is where you need to go for this fix.

Just choose the �me you would like to schedule this for, and you are set. There are some more features here that would interest you. A�er you set the �me, 1. you can choose to repeat this func�on as per your convenience 2. add remarks as required 3. receive a no�fica�on on your phone when the set ac�on is executed 4. you can choose the specialty features that you want to ac�vate like a. Total Switch b. Light c. Music d. Shake Once all se�ngs are done, click ‘save’ at the top right corner of the screen so that the app remembers your se�ngs. Your Saved scheduler will look like this now.

You can control it with the bu�on next to this scheduler task.

And repeat the same steps to create a new schedule with the add bu�on.

Bu�on no 10 will help you rename the various features the way you would like.

Note: This step is important, and one must remember the feature names so that these gestures can be accurately accessed by using smart-home devices.

You are good to go using the Bassinet With the Smart Life app. Let’s now look at using the Bassinet with devices like Amazon Echo and Google Home. Configura�on with Amazon Echo Make sure your Amazon Echo is powered on and connect to the same Wi-fi as your Bliss Bassinet.

At this step you need the Amazon Alexa app on your smart-phone. On the Home screen, click on the hamburger icon which will be on the top le� corner. (It is those three stacked lines, the last one being short.)

Select the On the top right corner, click on the ‘Skills and search op�on (magnifying glass icon) Games’ and type ‘Smart Life’. The reason to op�on from do this is to use the Bliss interface the menu that you have already saved in your items Smart Life profile. As you type the words ‘Smart Life’, you will see ‘Smart Life Skill’ op�on listed in the sugges�on menu. Click on it.
