Taylor Swift was born on December 13 1989 in Reading Pennsylvania. Later on she moved to Wyomissing Pennsylvania. When Taylor was five she started making songs. At age 16 she released her first album. Taylor Alison Swift is her full name. When she was growing up her family owned a christmas tree farm. Taylor has a brother named Austin.

Taylor donated a lot of money to charity. She donated $100,000 to red cross in Cedar Rapids. She has also donated her prom dress which raised $1,200 for charity. In 2009, she performed at a Children in Need concert, for that she donated $13,000. When there were floods in Tennessee, she donated $500,000. Taylor performed in a benefit concert and raised $750,000. In July, she donated $250,000 for the Alabama football coach.

Taylor is famous because of the many songs she has sung and written. Taylor composes country and pop. Her music biggest hit song is “You Belong With ME”. She has over 90 songs and about six albums. Taylor is also an actor, and one of the movies that she is in is The Lorax.

Taylor was inspired to sing by her grandmother. Her grandmother was a professional opera singer. Taylors grandmother's name is Marjorie Finlay. Marjorie was a soloist on two radio stations NBC and CBS.

I think Taylor is a good person because she donated so much money to charity. I think that is awesome that she does that, because she helps all the people struggling without any food or shelter. I also like her songs and her singing.
