Pacific Swimming Equipment Grant

In an effort to support our member clubs and to provide direct impact to our athletes, the Pacific Swimming Board of Directors has approved a one-time grant to member clubs in good standing*. The funds awarded will be based on the number of year-round athletes (see below), and will be allocated for the specific purpose of purchasing training equipment for the club.

As a result of our sponsorship arrangement and relationship with Speedo , they have generously offered a 30% discount on Speedo training equipment such as snorkels, fins, paddles, etc. (see list for eligible products). For training items not supplied by Speedo, Finis has also generously offered a 30% discount (see list). Our sincere thank you to both Speedo and Finis for supporting this grant program and the athletes in Pacific Swimming.

*Club requirements: • Clubs must be in good standing with Pacific Swimming, i.e., no outstanding obligations and current on all registrations • Clubs must be represented at the October House of Delegates meeting • Clubs must have working officials at a minimum of: o One official for clubs under 100 members o Three officials for clubs from 101 members to 200 members o Five officials for clubs over 200 members Note: a “working official” is one who has worked at least ten sessions per year and must be attached to the club

Grant awards will be as follows: • Clubs between 20 and 100 year-round members will receive $750 • Clubs from 101 to 200 year-round members will receive $1,000 • Clubs over 200 year-round members will receive $1,250 Note: clubs must have at least 20 year-round, attached athletes, and cannot be collegiate clubs.

Applications will also be available at the October House of Delegates Meeting. Equipment will only be ordered after the club has been approved for eligibility by Pacific Swimming Order deadline is November 10 th , 2015.
