Dezember 2010 – LG Electronics (LG), internationaler Anbieter und Technologieführer im Bereich Mobilkommunikation, setzt die Erfolgsgeschichte des LG Optimus fort und präsentiert das weltweit erste Smartphone Optimus 2X mit Dual Core Ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2-Prozessor. LG eröffnet mit diesem Technologiesprung eine neue Ära für Smartphones und bietet den Konsumenten ein ganz neues mobiles Smartphone-Erlebnis. Das Optimus 2X setzt auf absolute Schnelligkeit und Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Das Design und der Multimediacharakter kommen beim Powerphone auch nicht zu kurz. Denn das Optimus 2X verfügt über einen 4-Zoll WVGA-Bildschirm, einer 8 Megapixel Kamera und einer 1,3 Megapixel Frontkame- ra vorgesehen für Videotelefonie sowie über eine HDMI-Schnittstelle zum Abspielen von Videos am TV. Leistungsstärkstes Smartphone Das Optimus 2X bestätigt die Innovationsführerschaft von LG Electronics in der Mobilkommunikati- on. Mit dem High-End-Smartphone ist der Durchbruch in Sachen technische Raffinesse und Schnel- ligkeit gelungen. Die Kombination aus Dual Core Ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2-Prozessor, der Taktrate von 1Ghz, einem 8GB-Speicher, der via microSD bis zu 32 GB aufrüstbar ist, und dem 1.500mAh starken Akku macht das Gerät definitiv zum Powerphone mit enormer Leistung. Das Aufnehmen und Abspielen von Au- dio- und Video-Dateien passiert so schnell und einfach wie noch nie. Die integrierte 8Megapixel- Kamera kann auch Full HD-Videos aufzeichnen; die Verbindung zu anderen Geräten wird mit der HDMI-Schnittstelle oder via Wireless ermöglicht (HDMI Mirroring – z.B. für Gaming). Somit ist das Videospielen mit dem Optimus 2X ein ganz neuer Genuss. Der superschnelle Webbrowser und ein Touchscreen ohne jegliche Verzögerung machen Multitasking zu einem Kinderspiel und garantieren für eine neue Qualität im Umgang mit Smartphones. Damit funktioniert das Kommunizieren noch schneller. Weiters ist ein 7.1 Channel Surround Sound Support für den optimalen Hörgenuss integ- riert. Das Optimus 2X gehört zu den modernsten Smartphones der Welt und wird von LG Electronics im 1. Quartal 2011 gelauncht.
