The London Borough of Hounslow (20mph Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2021 Schedule 1. The London Borough of Hounslow on 11 January 2021 made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road (road closure and parking restrictions) Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 8 February 2021. 2. The general effect of the above Orders will be to control parking and loading, and the movement of traffic Road Location Dates Operational Times around the new housing development near the former Civic Centre on Lampton Road. The scheme would St Johns Road Between its junctions with Loring Road and 26/01/21 to 27/01/21 8pm to 5am consist of introducing: Isleworth Rennels Way (a) a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) consisting of resident only parking bays, as detailed in Civic Street Kingsley Road, Between its junctions with Stirling Grove and 27/01/21 to 28/01/21 8pm to 5am and Clarke Avenue, Hounslow which would operate Monday to Friday 9.30am-6pm and Saturday Hounslow Tiverton Road 9.30am-12.30pm; (b) waiting and loading restrictions in Civic Street, Clarke Avenue, Clovelly Road and Lampton Road, Lampton Road, Between its junctions with Bulstrode Avenue and 28/01/21 to 29/01/21 8pm to 5am Hounslow; Hounslow Thamesvale Close (c) a goods vehicle only loading bay outside No. 88 Lampton Road as detailed in Schedule 4 to this Notice. The Spring Grove Between its junctions with Gresham Road and 29/01/21 to 30/01/21 8pm to 5am loading bay would operate “At any time”, for a maximum stay of 40 minutes and no return within 1 hour; Road, Hounslow Worton Way (d) car club bays in Civic Street and Clarke Avenue, Hounslow; Thames Road, Between its junction with Magnolia Road and 02/02/21 to 03/02/21 8pm to 5am (e) a speed limit of 20 mph in the Lampton Road service road fronting No.88 Lampton Road, Clarke Avenue Chiswick the access into the allotments and Civic Street; and (f) moving traffic restrictions: Turnham Green Between its junction with Bath Road and No.92 03/02/21 to 04/02/21 8pm to 5am (i) one-way working in Lampton Road service road fronting No. 88 Lampton Road in a north-east to Terrace, Chiswick Turnham Green Terrace south-west direction; Alexandra Road, Between No.1 Alexandra Road and the 05/02/21 8am to 4pm (ii) one-way working in Civic Street between Lampton Road and Clarke Avenue in a south-east to north- Hounslow delivery vehicle access to the rear of west direction; The Blenheim Centre (iii) one-way working in Clarke Avenue in a north-east to south-west direction; (iv) one-way working in Clovelly Road between Clarke Avenue and Lampton Road in a north-west to south-east direction Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) (v) vehicles are prohibited from entering the Lampton Road service road fronting No. 88 Lampton Road Temporary road closure & parking restrictions – Park Road, Hounslow except for local buses, goods vehicles accessing only for loading and unloading; and 1.     CORPORATE PROPERTY STRATEGY AND ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN 2015 - 2025 Quarterly Update for CLT 28 June 2016 1 CONTENTS 1 Executive Summary 2 Principles 3 Priorities for the Corporate Property Strategy and Asset Management Plan 4 Appendix A- Schedule of Properties 2 1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This document provides a comprehensive listing of all of the Council’s operational and non- operational assets, coupled with an assessment of the ongoing Service requirement (need rather than want) for buildings and land in order to deliver services to residents and meet the aims of the Corporate Property Strategy that was adopted by the Cabinet in December 2013. An important factor in the way this exercise has been approached has been to seek to reduce the number of buildings the Council occupies in order to reduce operational costs and to create opportunities to either dispose of surplus assets or present them for redevelopment for profit. Work is underway to establish a ‘fit for purpose’ portfolio and Members should be aware that further work will be required to find the best fit of assets, either existing or to be developed, for the available budget and service needs. The Corporate Property team continues to work with service providers to identify redevelopment and disposal opportunities by matching property needs to service requirements. Flexibility and multi-use of land and buildings is central to this approach so that these assets can be much more efficient and used to their optimum potential. The strategy that flows from the key service requirements is brought together in the following Asset Management Plan This document must therefore be considered as ‘work in progress’ and by its very nature will continue to evolve over time as the nature of the Council’s business changes and responds to Central Government Policy.

    Hounslow Local Implementation Plan Introduction Hounslow Cycling welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the development of the third "LIP" for Hounslow. We support the overarching aim of the Mayor's Transport Strategy that the proportion of trips in London made on foot, bike or public transport should be increased from 63% in 2015 to 80% by 2041. We believe that better provision for cyclists in Hounslow can contribute significantly to the four Healthy Streets outcomes, contribute modestly to the two Homes & Jobs outcomes and not conflict with the three Public Transport outcomes. This document (which is broadly cross- referenced to the LIP requirements set out in TfL guidance to Boroughs) sets out our initial view of priorities for cycling in the borough in the next three years. R7: Local context Geographically, the borough developed along the arterial routes from London to the West. It has a string of town centres from Chiswick in the E to Feltham in the W along the line of the old Great West Road. Journeys from residential areas to the town centres are generally short hops in a N-S direction. The land is table top flat. Routes have historically been shaped by crossings and junctions along the Thames, the railway lines and the trunk roads. Demographically, we know that many people in Hounslow use bikes but do not think of themselves as cyclists. They will happily walk, use public transport or drive instead if that is more appropriate for the journey they wish to make. People are open to modal shift. Small improvements in cycling infrastructure can make a big difference.
