URSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations, 1938, I, Walter Nash, P Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that sufficient majorities of the producers in the respective areas of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such areas should be declared to be pool areas for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare the respective areas of land defined as aforesaid to be Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Areas for the purposes of the said regulations under the respective names set out in the said Schedule before the description of each area, and I do hereby further declare that this .notice shall take effect on the eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE. FIRST PART. -WAIHOU BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA. 1. Commencing from the point where the Piako County boundaries meet Wardville Road and taking a line down Alexander Road to McLaren's Road including Mather's farm on western end of McLaren's Road ; and thence across Waghorns Road to and including W. Hughe's farm; thence in a straight line to the point of commencement. ' 2. Commencing from Waghorns Road and taking a line to Montagues Corner ; thence down Stanley Road including McLaren's.Road to farm occupied by J, 0. Sullivan ; thence back to Manawaru Village and across to Shaftesbury Village incluaing the south side of the Shaftesbury farming district ; and thence. along Gordon Road south to the farm occupied by O'Shea; and thence back to Ward- ville Road at Montagues Corner. . 3. From the Borough of taking a line along the main concrete road to Neeves Corner, along Alexander Road, down Bakers Road, and across to the Shaftesbury Village including the northern side of Shaftesbury farming district, down the Te Aroha Road to the Town of Te Aroha ; thence along the main Te Aroha-Waihou Road to Waihou Village including all side roads east of Stanley and Alexander ltoads. 4. From the village of Waihou along the main highway road to Seddon Road including the farm occupied by Cooper in Seddon Road ; thence to Chudleigh Corner and along Chudleigh Road to Maungakawa Hill ; thence to Cornes Corner ; thence up Hunga Road to farm occupied by Clothier including Steeles Road ; thence to School Road through Maungakawa District to Mikkelsens Road ; thence to the Waihou Railway-station, taking in this area McCabes Road and all side roads. 1588 THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE. SECOND PART. -KURUNUI BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA. Southern and western boundaries constituted by that land at present occupied by Hinton's and Harbottle's farms ; and thence taking a line to the farms occupied by Lewis and Dunbar on the eastern side of Motumaoho Railway­ station ; thence to the Motumaoho Railway-station and along the Hamilton­ by-road taking in all farms on both sides of the road up to the farms occupied by Trust and Gray; thence to Scotts Road and along this road to Kurunui Road ; thence to the main Harnilton--Morrinsville• Highway ; and thence to Dodds Road Junction ; thence to Quarry Road Junction and continuing along the main road back to farm occupied by Harbottle and all side roads included within this area.

THIRD PART. BOBBY CALF MARKETING PooL AREA. 1. At a point commencing at Givens gate on the l\fatarnata;_Waitoa ]\fain Highway proceeding south to and along Diagonal Road to Armstrong's gate; thence across V{aitoa River to and along Kereone Road to Anderson's gate; thence along Campbells Road to Lugton's gate; thence returning to main -1Vaitoa Highway and continuing to as far as Maungakawa Road Junction and along this road to the eastern side of the main road to Chudlcigh Corner including all calves along Buchanans Road; thence back down main l\fatamata-Waitoa Highway to the junction of the Te Aroha - Morrinsville Highway Road and along this road as far as Curtins Bridge ; and thence back to the Waitoa Railway-station. 2. Taking a line on the northern side along the ,vairoa--Morrinsville railway­ line as the northern boundary, and along the Wairoa River as the eastern boundary, and along and including ]lfaungakawa Road as the southern boundary as far as Kereone cross-roads ; thence along Kereone Road to Cusscns Road Junction and including all calves on this road and any side roads leading off this road; thence back to Village; and thence along the main Tatuanui­ Morrinsville Road to the Piako railway-crossing including Browns Road and all by-roads within this area.

FOURTH PART. ·w ALTON BoBnY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA, Bounded on one side by the boundary-line between the Piako and Mata­ mata Counties along the l\fatamata-Waitoa Road also on a further side by the Piako County boundary on Richmond Downs Road and on the remaining side• bounded by the boundaries of the Ngarua Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area and the Kereone- Bobby Calf ]\farketing Pool Area as described else­ where in this Schedule.

FIFTH PART. KEREONE-KIWITAHI BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA. I. K iwitahi.-Commencing from the point of Hallys Corner on main Kiwitahi Road and along that road past Mikkelsens farm down to Kiwitabi Station ; thence along Milligans Road ; thence back to Kiwitahi School and from there to Waterworks Road to farm occupied by Cunningham; thence down to Chapnalls Road and back to farm occupied by Kerr ; thence along Scotchmans Valley ; thence Starkey's Road ; thence Taharoa Road up to the farm occupied by Hanson ; thence hack to main Kiwitahi Road to railway-crossing at O'Briens farm and continuing along this road to farms occupied by McDonald and Pirrit and all . by-roads included in this area. 2. Kereone.-From the commencement of and along Roaches Road; thence along Lowrys Road to and including the Kereone Settlement to the farms occupied by Wells and Haines ; thence back to the lll;l.in Kereone Road; thence into the Town of MorrinsviJ!e_

And in addition that area taking a line from Tahuna Village on the main Morrinsville-Ohinewai Road as far west as Reids Corner including all side roads; thence from the Tahuna-Paeroa Bridge easterly as far as Twin Bridges and northerly to the Maukora Bridge over the Piako River to th.e junction of the Springdale---Elstow Bobby Calf Pool boundary.

EIGHTH PART. TAUHEI Bomw CALF MARKETING PoLL {'REA. 1. Bounded on the south by the Te Aroha-Hamilton Main Road from the Borough of Morrinsville to Motumaoho Railway-station Road to the point where it connects with the Motumaoho-Kurunui Bobby Calf Pool boundary.. 2. Bounded on the east by the Piako River from the Borough of llforrinsville to but not including a point parallel with the Village. 3. Bounded on the north from Mangateparu Village by the Tauhei Road including that part of Pilkingtons Road to the point where the Tahuna Bobby Calf Pool boundary crosses Pilkingtons Road, thence to Corner from the Tauhei Road. 4. Bounded on the west by the main Tauhei Road to and including Swamp Road, thence to the Motumaoho Railway-station and all by-roads included in this area.

NINTH PART. CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT BoBBY CALF MARKETING PooL AREA. Commencing at the point where the 1Vaitete Stream joins the \Vaikato River on the western bank and taking a line along the vVaikato River to the point where the Hora Hora Road joins with tho main -Cambridge Road; thence in a north-westerly direction to embrace the districts of \Vhitehall, Taotaoroa, and ; thence across the peak Pukemoremore in a westerly direction crossing the hill road from Cambridge to at the point of the farm occupied by Jefferies; thence south along the said road to Hannon's Bridge and including all those farms to the west of the said Cambridge-Tauwhare Road; thence in a straight line to include the farm owned by the estate of the late S. M:cMillan on the Bruntwood-1\fatangi Road ; thence in a straight line across country to the farm owned by W. Bourke on the -Matangi Railway- 3tation Road ; thence along the boundaries of the said farm to the junction of Hinton and Crawford Gully ; thence following Crawford's Gully eastwards to a point to include Hardy's Corner on the Hamilton-Cambridge Main Highway; thence along M.iin's Avenue directly to the 1Vaikato River ; thence following this river in a south-easterly direction to Walker's Gully on the southern bank; thence (but excluding settlers in that district which lies between Walker's Gully and Kaipaki School) along the parallel road to embrace the districts of Monavale ; and th:nce through the Monavalc Swamp to the farm occupied by C. Russo; thence in a southerly direction to the Roto-o-rangi-Mangapiko Bridge ; thence in an easterly direction to include the settlements of Roto-o-rangi and Kairangi; and thence following the line of the Maungatautari Range back to the starting­ point at the Waitete Stream.

TENTH PART. MATAMATA DISTRICT BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA. I. Northern Boundary.-The boundary-line of the Matamata-Piako Counties with the exception of such farms along this line which have access to the Wardville Road. 2. Eastern Bounda,ry.-A line along the running south to the Tirau-Rotorua Road and including that portion of the Tirau-Rotorua Road to Tirau Township; thence by Webster's Road to the main Tirau-Putaruru Road, including the properties of F. Ward and W. G. Ward on the Taumangi Road. 3. W e,sfern Boundary.-From Parapara Road along the Tirau-Cambridge Road to Valley Road; thence along a line north, crossing at Buckland's Road to include the farm occupied by Broomhall and including also Morgan's Road, Scherer's Road, and Richmond Road to the boundary of the Piako County. The foregoing boundaries in the main constitute the whole of the Matamata County from W a.haroa Township to Taumangi Village and excluding only the Maungatautari and Karapiro Ridings.

ELEVENTH PART. KARAKA DISTRICT BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA. At a point commencing from the junction of Beach Road and the Great South Road at the Town of Papakura to Yate's Bridge on the Karaka-Waiau Road; thence via Te Hihi Settlement to the junction of the Pukekohe---Waiuku Road at Charles' Corner; continuing thence to Hallidays Corner and from this point along the Drury-Waiuku Road to Ban's Corner including all side roads and subsidiary connecting roads within this area.

TWELFTH PART. ORINI-TENFOOT- BoBBY CALF MARKETING PooL AREA. I. Te Hoe Section.-Commencing at a point from Reids Corner on the Te Hoe-Tahuna Road to the Township of Te Hoe; thence to Rutherfords Road -0n the Te Hoe - Ohinewai Road embracing all side roads in this "'rea ; thence to Waiterimu Road to Beagley's gate; thence along Ruther:fords Road to the junction of that road with the Taupiri-Orini Road. 1590 THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE. 2. Orini Section.-From the junction of Rutherfords Road with the Taupiri--' Orini Road to the Township of Orini including Carter's Road to the )fangawhero Stream; thence from Orini Township to the Gordonton-Tauhei Road embracing Proctors Road to the Mangawhero Stream and Woodwards Road; and thence along Whitikahu to farm occupied by Watkins on the Gordonton-Tauhei Road; thence along the Tenfoot-Orini Road and Tenfoot Road to Henry's Road ; thence to Wareings Road to the Township of Taupiri.

THIRTEENTH PART. TE AwAMUTU BOBBY CALF MARKETING PooL AREA. 1. North-west15~n Boundary.-Commencing at a point on the Main Trunk Railway immediately north of section 317 and from this point taking a line along Douch's Road to tho junction of the main south highway ; thence proceeding down the Ohaupo-Cambridge Road; thence along Norrish's, Kite's, Lynd's and parallel roads to Harvey's Bridge; thence down-stream to Walker's Gully on the Ohaupo-Cambridge Road following the stream to the point where it joins the River. 2. North-eastern Boundary.-From a point commencing at the '.re Awamutu­ Ohaupo Road Junction with Ngahinepouri Road to the junction of this latter road to farm occupied by Teddy; thence along Ham's Road to Teddy's Road ; thence toJiam's Corner; thence along Te Awamutu-Midway's Road to junction of Rice's Road ; thence down Rice's Road to the Mangaotomo Stream following down the said stream to the W aipa River and taking in all farms on both sides. 3. Western Boundary. - Commencing at Chamberlain's Road, fhence to Hastie's, Cowan's, and Cooper's Roads to the point of Island Farm on the Te Awamutu-Monavale Road. 4. South-western Boundary.-Commencing from. Mclntyres gate ; thence along the Ngahape Road to the Ngahape cross-roads; thence down Kawhia Road to the Waipa River. 5. South-eastern Boundary.-From the commencement of the Kawhia­ Pirongia Road as far as the farm occupied by Beet at the junction of the Otorohanga, Kawhia, and Pirongia Roads.
