From the Principal…… State Basketball Finals The weekend saw an authentic and high order showcase of Trevallyn Primary School values in action and a demon- stration of their effectiveness. There was no lip service to our school values; they were very alive and very well.

ACHIEVING - the basketball players had a strong focus on their goal with enormous effort to win, they reached the finals and gave their personal best with sportsmanship a guiding value. To date we have uploaded all school newsletters produced in Term 4. The aim is for our school to become paperless as much as possible, so please look for and download our Skoolbag® App to keep connected and informed of events, excursion and classroom notices and the school newsletter TOPICS. IMPORTANT SCHOOL SPORTING Kids4Kids Conference NOTICES Last Thursday our class, 3/4A, went to the ‘Kids4Kids Conference’ which was held at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery at Inveresk. The Conference had heaps of Swimming Carnivals activities relating to sustainability. We played our game called This week is SWIMMING CARNIVAL WEEK!!! In support of the 205 children in detention, the P-1A class made postcards to send to Malcolm Turnbull with the line "Kids should be free to...". Some of our messages included “Have a safe home, go to the park, play football with their dad, have a bike, go to the swimming pool, go to the shop and be out of the fences”. This was part of the #Kidsout day of Solidarity Children’s Week 2015. Many classes also made some ‘Welcome’ posters with messages to people from other places to say that they are welcome in . They looked great as part of the Welcome Walk held in Launceston on 31st October.
