CLOSING MESSAGE Pg 06 GREETINGS FROM THE DIRECTOR

For many around the world, the first months of 2020 have been challenging to say the least. The effects of the novel coronavirus is felt by all and will no doubt have a lasting impact on many.

2020 also happens to be the 75th anniversary of Sub-Zero. While now is not the time to celebrate, we are reminded that our company’s success over the past 75 years is contributed to the people in our community, our loyal customers and a shared need and appreciation for human connection. As each and every one of us struggle with different challenges and circumstances during these dif cult times, we are also reminded that we are not alone. Therefore, I would like to use this newsletter as an opportunity to celebrate the incredible community that is the Sub-Zero and Wolf family.

In Madison, Wisconsin, the home of Sub-Zero and Wolf, Head Demonstration Chef Joel Chesebro and his team are slowly seeing the signs of spring in Sub-Zero and Wolf’s own garden, Harvest Haven, and in San Diego, California, you’ll never guess where Academy Award winner, Richard Dreyfuss, keeps the Oscar he won for The Goodbye Girl in 1978.

Meanwhile, closer to home, our Culinary Ambassador and Executive Chef of Dewakan in Kuala Lumpur, Darren Teoh, was named one of Asia’s most powerful, inuential and stylish people by Tatler magazines in the region. We’re incredibly fortunate to work with such inspiring and talented people like Darren and his team.

In Singapore earlier in the year, we had the pleasure of hosting Natalie Glebova, author and former for dinner, as well as our friends from ONE FM91.3. To mark International Women’s Day and kick off Sub-Zero’s 75th anniversary, we also hosted some of the most inspiring women we know for a dinner celebrating the achievements of women over the past seven and a half decades.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers, clients, partners and staff for their support during this dif cult time. NEWS

Given the current situation, we take great care to sanitize all our showrooms in the region. The health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is our primary concern and we have put stringent cleaning practices in place. Hand towels, tableware, cutlery and glasses are all sanitized in Wolf Convection Steam Ovens before using and we have commissioned services to clean all showrooms daily.

THAILAND House of Sub-Zero and Wolf in has seen a slew of new installments and improvements. The new Sub-Zero PRO36 was installed earlier this year and we are expected to complete a new Wolf Lounge on the second oor in April, showcasing the newest technology and releases from Wolf. Finally, we’re excited to unveil our new customized artwork on the doors of Sub-Zero Integrated Column Freezer and Refrigerator with artwork by Bangkok-based artist Elizabeth Romhild. Made with Sonite’s striking surface covering and designed exclusively for Sub-Zero and Wolf by Elizabeth, the artwork makes a eye-catching addition to House of Sub-Zero and Wolf in Bangkok. If you’re in the city, we encourage you to come and see for yourself. NEWS

USA As spring is just around the corner in Madison, Wisconsin, where the Headquarters of Sub-Zero and Wolf are located, Head Demonstration Chef Joel Chesebro was featured on MSN sharing tips for a ourishing vegetable garden. During the summer months, Joel and his team source most of their produce from Sub-Zero and Wolf’s own on-site 2.5 acre garden, Harvest Haven. See the article here

Meanwhile in San Diego, California, Academy Award winner, Richard Dreyfuss, keeps the Oscar he won for The Goodbye Girl in 1978 in – you guessed it – a Sub-Zero fridge! The interview with Richard Dreyfuss appeared on CBS’s show Sunday Morning. EVENTS Indonesia
