ENZIAN ANNOUNCES NEW SEASON OF PRODUCTIONS

Orlando, FL – (May 25, 2016) – National Theatre Live is the National Theatre's groundbreaking project to broadcast the best of British theatre from the London stage to cinemas around the world. Enzian is currently scheduled to play three of the National Theatre’s latest productions: LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES, starring Dominic West, Michelle Dockery, and Janet McTeer; ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS, featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from host of the The Late Late Show, James Corden; and , written by Academy Award® winner Martin McDonagh (, Seven Psychopaths, In Bruges), and starring David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and Andy Nyman (Peaky Blinders, Death at a Funeral).

This season of National Theatre Live productions is co-presented by Annie Russell Theatre and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

Individual tickets to each screening are available for purchase, as well as a Season Pass, which allows patrons to see all three productions at a discount and includes one free glass of house wine at each show.

WHAT: National Theatre Live: LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES Sunday, June 5th at 11AM Following the hugely successful broadcasts of and King Lear, National Theatre Live brings the ’s highly anticipated new production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses to cinemas – recorded live from the Donmar’s London .

Directed by Josie Rourke (Coriolanus), the cast includes Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Janet McTeer (The White Queen) and Dominic West (The Wire, The Affair).

In 1782, Choderlos de Laclos’ novel of sex, intrigue and in pre-revolutionary France scandalised the world. Two hundred years later, ’s irresistible adaptation swept the board, winning the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Play. Josie Rourke’s revival now marks the play’s thirty year anniversary.

Former lovers, the Marquise de Merteuil and Vicomte de Valmont now compete in games of seduction and revenge. Merteuil incites Valmont to corrupt the innocent Cecile de Volanges before her wedding night but Valmont has targeted the peerlessly virtuous and beautiful Madame de Tourvel. While these merciless aristocrats toy with others’ hearts and reputations, their own may prove more fragile than they supposed.

National Theatre Live: ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS Saturday, July 30th at 11AM For a limited time only, National Theatre Live’s Encore Series brings a selection of award-winning British theatre productions to your local cinema. Featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from host of the The Late Late Show, James Corden, the uproarious One Man, Two Guvnors was a runaway hit both in London’s West End and on Broadway.

Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect £6,000 from his fiancée’s dad. But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who’s been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers.

Holed up at The Cricketers’ Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be re-united with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. Simple.

National Theatre Live: HANGMEN Saturday, September 3rd at 11AM Following a sell-out run at London’s , Olivier and Academy Award® winner Martin McDonagh (The Pillowman, Seven Psychopaths, In Bruges) returns to the West End with Matthew Dunster’s award-winning production of his deeply funny new play Hangmen, recorded live for to cinemas by National Theatre Live.

In his small pub in the northern English town of Oldham, Harry (David Morrissey – The Walking Dead, State of Play) is something of a local celebrity. But what’s the second- best hangman in England to do on the day they’ve abolished hanging?

Amongst the cub reporters and pub regulars dying to hear Harry’s reaction to the news, his old assistant Syd (Andy Nyman – Peaky Blinders, Death at a Funeral) and the peculiar Mooney (Johnny Flynn – Clouds of Sils Maria) lurk with very different motives for their visit.
