Programs #1: Town of Yarmouth Revitalization (Downtown Core) Sub-Project 1.a – Main St. Façade Sub-Project 1.b – Streetscape Enhancement Sub-Project 1.c – Branding (downtown identity development)

Scope: Contracted Ekistics/Form-Media to carry out the necessary consultation, planning, design and documentation that make-up the Façade, Streetscape Enhancement and Town Identity (Branding) implementation.

Status: Sub-Project 1.a – Main St. Façade • Ekistics to provide ‘draft’ Façade Best Practices Manual based on the Urban Design Standards (Form Based Planning Codes) in the week of Sept. 22nd to preface on-site visit in the week of Sept 29th (targeting Tuesday Sept. 30th).

• Participation currently at 26 potential buildings located between King St. and Forest St. Initial activity is in progress to identify additional approved contractors to support estimated type of façade improvements.

Sub-Project 1.b – Streetscape Enhancement • Ekistics working with Engineering to complete final design.

Sub-Project 1.c – Branding (downtown identity development) • Follow-up with Form-Media Project Lead to occur week of Sept. 22nd. No red flags sited as this point.

Project #2 – Yarmouth International Airport/Port of Yarmouth Brochure Status: Complete Date Started: Mon. Sept. 15/14 Date Completed: Tues. Sept. 16/14

Scope: Created marketing brochure identifying location, facilities, opportunities and contact information for the Yarmouth International Airport and the Port of Yarmouth. Content verified by Port Manager, Greg Shay and Airport Manager, Mike Fields with brochure design by Neil MacKenzie.
