WEEKLY PARISH BULLETIN - March 28, 2021 9 EDUCATION NEWS • School Updates "Exult greatly, O daughter Zion! Shout for joy, O daughter Jerusalem! Behold: your king is coming to you, a just savior is he, Humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey” - ZECHARIAH 9:9 Dear Parish Family, As we celebrate Palm Sunday, and move into the holiest days on our Liturgical calendar, what a reminder Christ provides for us. Entering into the city, simply, modestly and practically, and saving the world by His love and sacrifice. What an example for us all. At Saint Ambrose School we are collecting coins for Mano Y Mano Lenten Service project, reflecting on this holy time in history, and spending extra time with our students in prayer, Stations of the Cross led by our students, and song. It is such a powerful season of growing in our faith. How perfect that it corresponds with the growth and new birth the season of spring brings to us! We are privileged to lead into the daily Next Generation learning with the life and love of Jesus Christ who is EVERYTHING for us! Saint Ambrose School and Littlest Angels Preschool will be closed for Easter Break next week. May we all continue to grow closer with Jesus Christ and become ALIVE in Christ with Him. The increased sunshine and break in the weather has been a true blessing to bring the indoors outside. Students and teachers are enjoying every inch of our campus as we continue learning beyond our walls! Thank you again to our school families and sponsors for our incredible Gala. Your affirmation and support of our work are compelling, inspiring and energizing to us! May God continue to bless our parish community as we continue to See the Good. and Be the Good this Easter season. We continue to receive interest in our Preschool-8th grade school. Thank you for sharing our ministry with family and friends. Spaces remain for the 2021-2022 school year. Please contact us! 330-460-7318. www. SaintAmbroseSchool.us

10 Saint Ambrose Catholic Parish PSR & MORE Blessings from our Parish School Religion As we enter into this most Holy Week in our Catholic faith, we are reminded of the sacrifice Christ made for each and every one of us.

All of our students had the opportunity to focus on their own journey through Lent with different lessons and activities.

Thank you to our fifth and sixth grade students who presented our Living Station Presentation virtually this year. It has been a PSR tradition for many years and we are so grateful that we were able to make it happen. It would not have been possible without the leadership of Mr. Ray Maskow, Mrs. Betsy Nicewander and Mrs. Helen Lanzarotta. God bless them for their commitment to our students and our program.

We celebrated the Seder Meal this year with our sixth and seventh grade students and their families on Monday, March 22. This also has been a tradition for our students and their families for many years. Last year we were unable to celebrate together so it made this year more meaningful. What an absolutely beautiful evening we were able to share together. Thank you Father Andrew, Mr. Jeff Blanc, and Mr. Kevin Sedlacek for teaching and leading the evening.

Our students have truly been amazing this year with all things and learning virtually every week. We recognize the following students for modeling what it means to live a life centered on the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, Self- Control and Acts of Love:

Alexa B. Cameron E. Emily F. Mick M. Ella M. Anthony N. Kenzie R. Paige S. Lyla S. Jocelyn S. Christian W. Kayla W.

Please keep in your prayers the Camille G., Isabell C., and Brennan M.. These are our students who will enter the Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil. All PSR classes will resume on Monday, April 12, 2021. Happy Easter and God bless!
