2007 Season Review The 2007 BYU soccer season was one for the record books. Highlighted by the team’s tenth trip to the NCAA tournament in 11 years and a number of new school records set, the 2007 campaign will be remembered as both a high point in history and a launching pad for successful teams to come.

Among the records set were career saves (261) and shutouts (40) as well as shutouts in a single season (13) by senior goalkeeper Erika Woodbury, the most shutouts in a row by a single team in school history with eight to start the season, and both the team’s and head coach Jennifer Rockwood’s 200th victory, which is the most in Mountain West Conference history.

Defensively, the team allowed only 11 goals for the second year in a row. A total BYU Head Coach of 14 shutouts were recorded, which is a new school record. Harmon-Carter, a Jennifer Rockwood junior defender, was a Hermann Trophy candidate, sophomore defender Andrea Career record: 210-65-20 Willis was awarded First-Team All-MWC honors, and Woodbury earned Second- Team All-MWC honors as well.
