This year's beautification event was held in the Stockyards neighborhood. Volunteers helped construct and decorate planters made from recycled tires that were pulled from alleys and lots in Ward 14. The finished planters will be placed throughout the Stockyards neighborhood at various businesses. And, as a deterrent, planters will also be placed in high illegal dumping areas.
