Jason Gardiner 7/2 for sack from Dancing on Ice Submitted by: SEPR Tuesday, 8 February 2011 - Fans call for Gardiner to go after on-screen slanging match with Karen Barber - Ice judge Jason Gardiner is 7/2 with Boylesports.com (http://www.boylesports.com) to get the chop from Dancing on Ice after he reduced colleague Karen Barber to tears with his trademark put-downs on Sunday night’s live show. Around 3,000 viewers complained this week after the acid-tongued Aussie turned on former judge and now Head Coach Karen Barber, who took offence to Jason’s critique of contestant and VC hero Johnson Beharry. Barber got out of her seat to confront Gardiner following his cutting comments, only for the choreographer to suggest that if her opinion mattered, she would still be on the panel. Boylesports.com offers 6/1 that both apologise on next week’s show and 9/2 that Barber is back as a judge for the next series of the ITV show. “Jason was well out of line and with so many calling for his head, ITV may be forced to give him the boot,” said Boylesports.com Public Relations Spokesperson, Nicola McGeady. Submitted by: SEPR Friday, 25 March 2011 Dancing on Ice draws to a close with the live final on Sunday night, with the skating finale drawing the curtain on one of TV’s biggest on-screen spats. Head coach Karen Barber and acid-tongued judge Jason Gardiner have endured a feisty relationship throughout the 2011 series, but Boylesports.com (http://www.boylesports.com) is going 5/1 on the feuding pair to kiss and make-up during Sunday’s final. Barber has previously confronted the Aussie this over comments that he made about the performance of contestant and VC hero Johnson Beharry, a critique that drew more than 3,000 viewer complaints, and the pair have been involved in some furious exchanges throughout the series.
