Swimmers must apply to be considered as a Scholastic All-America Team member, and the award combines the athlete’s accomplishment in school as well as in the pool. There were 1,925 swimmers throughout the U.S. named to the Scholastic All-Amer- ica Team. All team members earn three certificates and a bag tag. Those who have been named to the team three times receive a special memento from USA Swimming. For the Nadadores, Marc Morizo- no, (first year), Nick Norman (third (From left) Nick Norman, Grant Shoults, and Marc Morizono earned Scho- year), and Grant Shoults (second Photo courtesy of Jamie Olson lastic All-America Team honors. year) were named to the team.
