Niagara Falls Moves to Step One of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen Beginning June 11, 2021

Niagara Falls Tourism Shares What’s Open and Other Resources to Help Visitors Plan During Provincewide Reopening

Following Ontario’s announcement that the province will safely enter Step One of its Roadmap to Reopen on Friday, June 11, 2021, Niagara Falls Tourism is sharing online resources to help visitors with planning during the province’s gradual easing of restrictions.

“We look forward to welcoming visitors to Niagara Falls, a destination renowned for its awe-inspiring natural wonders, nature, history and adventure and wide-open spaces allowing for physical distancing as pandemic restrictions gradually ease,” said Janice Thomson, President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism. “We hope visitors find the Niagara Falls Tourism website resources the perfect place to see what’s open and start planning their visit during all steps of reopening.”

Visitors are reminded of the ongoing importance of following public health guidelines for social distancing and wearing face coverings indoors and when maintaining a safe distance outdoors isn’t possible. Businesses in Niagara Falls will also continue to make health and safety a priority for visitors and staff as outlined on SafetoPlay.ca, the Niagara Falls tourism industry’s commitment to all standards introduced by Provincial and Regional Health Authorities.

“As a popular leisure destination for southern Ontario, businesses in Niagara Falls are excited to welcome visitors back and remain committed to ensuring a safe and memorable experience for all who work and visit here,” said Joel Noden, Chair of Niagara Falls Tourism.

During Step One, Niagara Falls offers world-class accommodation, attractions, outdoor parks and landscaped gardens, a designated nature reserve, scenic hiking trails, golf, cycling trails, outdoor patio dining, birdwatching hotspots and nearby wine region and farmland to explore beyond the famous waterfalls.
