Mrs Arnold has been with us for 8 years and will be greatly missed.

We all enjoyed a fabulous day at Whinlatter Forest as a treat before finishing for the Summer. Setting off in torrential rain with thunder and lightening was a little off putting as we had planned for Mr and Mrs Arnold to ‘GO APE’ whilst we were there. This was a treat for Mrs Arnold given as a parting gift from all the children. However we needn't have worried by the time we arrived at Whinlatter the sun was shining. We all had a lovely day following the forest trails, enjoying our picnic lunch and exploring the play areas. All this whilst looking out for Mrs Arnold overhead… going down zip wires and manoeuvring through moving tunnels! What a fab day.

Thursday saw us up in Church saying good bye to Year 6 at the leavers service. Year 6 shared some of their memories during their time at Orton School, and were presented with gifts from ‘Friends’ and Bibles from the Parish.

We wish Mrs Arnold and Year 6 Good Luck as they move on to their next adventures in life and thank them for the memories they have given us over the years.
