O Both of Reinsdorf’s sports franchises have donated millions of dollars to causes in the Chicago community through a variety P P of efforts, including CharitaBulls and White Sox Charities. Reinsdorf has played a critical role in the development of the west O side area surrounding the . During the 1990’s CharitaBulls donated $4.5 million to construct the James Jordan

N Boy’s and Girls Club and Family Life Center, which was erected in memory of James Jordan, father of Bulls great Michael O

S Jordan. The 4,000-square-foot facility is located just two blocks from the United Center. As part of its commitment to educa - A E

S tion, CharitaBulls donated $3.5 million to launch the Bulls Scholars Program, an after-school tutorial program. On September 0 1

- 14, 2009, the Chicago Bulls College Prep School was officially opened with an opening class enrollment of over 200 9th 9

0 graders. The school, located at 2040 West Adams, is a Noble Street Charter School. CharitaBulls has also donated over $1 mil - lion to a variety of Chicago Park District programs. In an effort to combat childhood obesity, in 2009, the Bulls committed $1.8 S
